The Fountains tea room — Restaurant in Wales

Been here twice in the past year. It was bad the first time but worse the second. Food is expensive and portions are small. I had a breakfast which you either had hash brown OR mushrooms I asked for both and was charged £1.25 for literally the smallest amount of mushrooms. The cheapest produce money can buy. None of the tables or chairs match with anything, some are uncomfortable. It's really small and not much space to eat.crockery is all mismatched, stained and chipped. We asked for 3 pots of tea which were brought out in 2 different size tea pots. They don't even offer you sauce or anything with your meals. I have worked in catering for about 20 years, it's a shame because the cafe has been there for Bout 30 years and still seems popular by people who know nothing about food. I will not...

So I'd like to start this review of with the the food I ordered a cheese and bacon toasty and I must say its the first time in a long time I've been given a traditional cheese and bacon toasty I throughly enjoyed it it was well filled and you could tell it had been made with love the cook seems to really enjoy there line of work witch you can tell by the food surved the waiting time was less than 5 minutes and it was nice to wash it down with a lovely cappuccino all in all the service was amazing all thrue out will definitely be...

Terrible staff and customer service was awful. Not good value for money, at all! Asked for coffee got tea, asked for beans and tomatoes got beans and was offered condiments, i asked for red and 2 second it took and i was brought brown. Unsurprisingly she continued to blame other customers for her inadequacy. Zero stars!
