We stopped by The Gallery, Barry @thegallerybarry — a completely non-profit café where every brew and bite gives back. 💛 All profits support The Cube, a local charity helping people through tough times — and every member of staff here has been personally touched by the causes they champion.

The vibes? Local, warm, and full of heart. Tables filled the second they emptied — always a good sign! 💫

Here’s what we had for a wholesome, heartwarming lunch: 🥪 Brie & Bacon Panini 🐟🧀 Tuna & Cheese Panini 🥗 Both served with gorgeously fresh and colourful side salad 🍟 A side of chips 🍫☕ A rich hot chocolate 🍵 A pot of tea

I love this little place where I sit doing my work, coffees are amazing, I always get jacket potato and it is nice and filling. apparently it’s through a charity, there’s always lots of classes of some sort upstairs…I went to toilets and it was very clean to say the least. There’s parking outside on the street only downside is it’s 2 hours… or there’s Barry train station, where you can park as it’s a 5 min walk well for me! The young girl at till is really polite and works hard. It does get busy here since there’s lots of mums with pushchairs every now and then but all in all a good atmosphere..I shall definitely go...

Went for breakfast this morning at 9.30am and I was so impressed! The food was delicious and good value for the quality they are offering. The lady who served us was so welcoming and helpful. We had children with us and she was really good with them and tailored our order. The mystery to me is why it was quiet. There was one other table occupied when we we there and as we left at 11am another table was being taken. The Gallery is clearly Barry’s best kept secret and really deserves to be busy because the food and service and surroundings are perfect. I will definitely be back and would recommend it...
