The Old Tea Rooms — Restaurant in Wales

I honestly can't tell if the terrible grumpy service is all part of the theme. No smiles, please or thank you, things just plonked down. The tables were wet and dirty, the seating small and cramped, the plates, cups, cutlery etc is old but not in a nice way. The menu offers GIANT scone but they are rather average, over heated in a microwave and not worth the money. The soup was nice though and the kids cottage pie went down nice. But honestly i would avoid this place, there are plenty of other places to choose from...

Lovely quiet tea rooms where you can enjoy tea, from a selection, and different cakes. The tea is served in beautiful china teapots and cups+saucers. And the cakes are excellent - I really enjoyed the 'Bara brith'. A lovely environment - nicely decorated.
