The Patriot — Restaurant in Wales

We visited The Patriot in July 2014 whilst we were on holiday from Australia visiting family in Pontypridd. What a great Welsh welcome we received, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Phil the Landlord was a real gent, he sat and chatted with us for hours and he kindly gave us some gifts to bring back to Australia. The real ale was fantastic and very well kept. Phil says that he is coming to visit us in Australia, we look forward to seeing you.The real stars of the Wonky Bar are Michelle and Lorraine, they kept us all entertained on a nightly basis.we will certainly visit again when we next come...

a terrible place to go. The atmosphere here was awful and nevertheless treated and humiliated by the ‘lady’ behind the bar. She was wearing a white dress which was ever so slightly see through (may I add a lot of younger females have dressed worse). . She was demanded to finish her drink and leave. As she was finishing her drink she received abuse and terrible attitude from the bar staff member. And the worst thing was she was shamed in front of loads of men. This is disgusting behaviour.
