Let’s start by the fact that we booked in advance, we showed up on time, stand by the entrance and me and my gf were just ignored by all the waiters, and waited for about 10 minutes until someone approached, she was nice, but not even a slight apology or a single word, gave us the most uncomfortable table for two, in one corner (even though I specifically told them when making the reservation that we had our anniversary date), menu were basically thrown at the table just in the middle and before we were sat, my gf ordered a glass of wine and I jumped to order a bottle, I thought it’ll be better so we can have a chat an a few drinks, we had not a single word from the waitress, not a recommendation and the wine (white wine) came it was not even chilled and didn’t came in a cooler, it was just the bottle, we ordered food and it took almost 30 minutes for our starters and about 45 for the mains, which to be honest was way too much, the place was busy, but not as much as to leave that gap on the service, I requested a glass of water that never appeared and the food, wow, as a chef, I know the struggle in the kitchen sometimes but serve a “carbonara” been so brave of calling a carbonara a bunch of spaghetti with cream and ham, and then call your restaurant Italian is just disrespectful, the soup was clearly heated and tasted like it wasn’t from the day, the calamari was rubbery and just covered with the same soup I was served before, and a side salad that would be served in a pub with more grace even having the bravery of send salad cream sachets that tasted disgusting, chewy bread not even toasted, no olive oil at least, just and incredible deception, even my girlfriend is asking me to stop apologising about the dreadful night o offered on our anniversary. We ordered our food with a quick phone call and our food was ready 30 minutes later. We walked down and collected our food quickly and the staff & owner were very polite! The food itself was delicious, as always, as we ordered two pizza's (Diavola & Capricciosa) & the garlic cheese mushroom starter (can't remember the name). Only criticism is we think the garlic cheese mushroom starter dish had steamed itself in the box making the mozzarella go a bit clumpy. However it still tasted great!

My girlfriend & I have eaten in here around 3 times now and every time we have left feeling well fed & satisfied with our food. The garlic breads are amazing, thin and a good amount of toppings and the pizza's have a health amount of toppings too. The pasta dishes (of the three I have tried) are also all amazingly flavoured and all seem to be unique and well crafted. Not tried any of the desserts but I will be next time I visit!

TL:DR I can't recommend this place enough, genuinely lovely staff & authentic Italian food with a well balanced price tag. Would make for a great sit down meal or place to grab a pizza for the way home. Vegan & veggie options available and you can request extra toppings/removal of...

We went here for a meal last night, it was a lovely atmosphere, slightly busier than I’d have liked as service was a little stressed. Our waitress was lovely. Once we ordered our food our drinks order was taken that was ok, but I’d have liked the drinks a little sooner as it took us a while to decide what to eat as the menu is quite large with plenty of tasty options to choose from. The starter came out quickly which was great and also very tasty, the portion size was slightly smaller than I expected given the price of it. The main meals came out quickly after , I will be honest, it was ok, I’ve had a lot better here. The chips were the highlight of my visit last time they were just perfect , but last night I was so disappointed with them. Also the portion size of my partners meal was disappointing. I’m not sure if it was just the seafood portions but the seafood seemed non existent. Although the sauce was exceptional. The puddings were very nice. All in all it was an enjoyable evening but I can honestly say we have had a better meal here...
