Uncle Albert's Ice Cream Emporium — Restaurant in Wales

The friendly face that knows me (for my squirrel icecream demands ) that runs this delightful shop doesn't actually know me at all but makes me feel that way as she always has a warm welcome and is happy to serve you with the delicious homemade foods on offer. This is a excellent place for afternoon tea or even better ' icecream anytime '. This is one of two places in wales I will go out of my way to visit simply for the yummy scrumptious icecream . My daughter rates the hot chocolate very highly and is not a easy to please teenager!! The food is excellent and the atmosphere is friendly. Last visit for icecream ended as majority often do ,and I left with a homemade cheesecake. Hands down was the best homemade cheesecake i have tasted including my own...

Well, how can I begin ? I dropped my wife off to go grab some takeaway lunch this afternoon and she came back with a huge smile on her face and two MASSIVE bags full of food. I lost my mind wanting to know why on Earth she would buy that much from a place we had never been before. We got back to our caravan and she served up, I was absolutely shocked at the quality and quantity of what she got. Amazing food. She said the lady that served her in the shop was lovely, helpful and very polite.

We've had sandwiches and ice cream so far from this cafe, all been lovely, the cafe is very conveniently situated at the midway point of our beach walks too!! Right opposite the pub too!!. They are dog friendly! Foggy and Sid especially enjoyed the cappuccino icecream on our last visit!! So nice to see a vegetarian and vegan cafe (and gluten free options) open in Borth, we will be back in soon to try your breakfast, the garlic mushrooms...
