Golden Gate — Restaurant in Walsall

I have been a regular customer for 12 years with only one problem before being I found a hair in my food, i took the food back and was cooked a fresh meal there and then with the full refund as a good will gesture as this had spoilt our family meal. So last night I ordered online at 6.40pm to not receive my order until 8.10pm then to find my order was all wrong. I rung the takeaway who then retook my order and sent it back out. I bagged up the incorrect order and waited until 9.10pm for my meal. I found that the order was wrong again. I called back and they couldn't do anything about this and the manager was going to call me at 10pm and what I was told by front desk they were to add comment on their system to have our next meal of that value £15 complimentary next time which was also reiterated by the delivery driver. I waited and no phone call. I have rung again this eveing to be told i can't talk to the manager as there is a language barrier, when I could clearly hear him in background to then be more or less told I was lying as they sent driver out with refund. I wouldn't waste my time and effort trying to get their customer service if I had it dealt with in first place. I am still awaiting a call to resolve this as 2 and half hours last night and poor customer service yeterday and today had left me fuming to say the least. Where to start. Used this takeaway for years since moving into the area, it used to be a nice treat. Food always used to taste great and rarely had any complaints but recently it's gone downhill. Not sure if they've changed hands over the last 12 months but the last 4 times we have had food from here I've been very disappointed. Fried rice has been very greasy and almost concealed as if re-cooked when ordering, the prawns in the curry weren't cooked enough and very slimey. They were the same in a mixed dish we had, which also had duck, chicken and pork in - all VERY dry, fatty and inedible really. I couldn't tell what meat was what - very bizarre experience - it was as though the cheapest cuts of meat have been used, cooked then recooked a dozen times. Someone in our group also had an omlette which they said was way too salty and in the end it went in the bin.

Pains me to say after so many years of loyal custom but I will not be returning again. These business' need to realise that they aren't replaceable and by serving rubbish people will go elsewhere. Sorry...

The only thing worse than the disgusting dish they sent was their customer service!

Ordered crispy shredded beef, and they automatically sent this horrible salt and pepper shredded beef. Apparently by "default" all their dishes come without ANY sauce and you have go out of your way to specify if you want any sauce. For example, in my case I should have went out of my way to say I want peking sauce rather than them asking whether I want it dry when I was ordering. I have made this order from at least 5 chinese takeaways, and I am never asked to spell out everything e.g. can you fry the egg fried rice.

When I called to explain that no one asked whether I wanted it dry or with sauce, they said "well....I'm not a mind reader", and they were very rude and dismissive....borderline shouting. To add insult to injury the dish tasted disgusting, as many people have wrote on here.
