EDIT: SEPT 24: My review is as both a customer and as an Uber/Deliveroo driver. Since the refurb to separate the delivery area from the main service area, the quality of food and customer service has dropped dramatically. The delivery area is tiny and stinks of BO from the drivers who don't wash, wait times have increased to unacceptable levels (I'm not delivering your order for £3.50 pay after waiting 20 minutes for your food!), and the staff just mostly ignore drivers now they're away from the main customer area. This is bad for delivery customers. As a customer, food is as bad as the Reedswood branch now. Burgers missing ingredients, or ingredients not removed as requested, cold and limp fries, the app is now useless - wasted 30 minutes this morning trying to order breakfast for them to tell me I couldn't have breakfast items that I'd ordered BEFORE 11am because I'd arrived at the drive thru window at 11.02! The queue at the drive thru isn't my fault - my items should've started being cooked as soon as you confirmed my order had been accepted! This is AFTER I'd arrived the first time and been told payment hadn't gone through so had to order again while in the car park - all before 11am! I just won't order from there anymore. Down to two takeaways in the whole of Willenhall and Walsall - it seems minimum standards means nothing anymore.
JAN 2024: My review is as both a customer and as an Uber/Deliveroo driver. Compared to many other Maccies, this one is quite good. As a customer, orders are mostly served very quickly and presented well (burger actually inside the bun etc). As a delivery driver, orders are usually prepared quickly and staff are mostly attentive to drivers. The 'Delivery Manager' chap seems to have forgotten how to smile but he is very efficient, gets involved with issues and generally keeps everything running much smoother than when he's not there. The few issues I've had when collecting orders have been resolved very quickly. I get far less customer complaints (mostly missing items) from this store than any other store I collect from (probably 15 others from Willenhall...
Read moreI usually never had s problem with this mcdonalds until they reopened recently. Honestly I ordered an £8 meal media fries and banana milkshake .. Those 2 where fine . Ridiculous priceing. BUT THE BURGER. I have small hands. The burger was smaller than my hand. It barely had anything on (Mccrispy) it was so chewy. ( on weekend) hen I ordered 2 happy meals today all fries soggy and cold and some where frozen. They felt wet. The burgers in the happy meal. One of the burgers had litterally no toppings. The burger was half frozen tasted icy and chewy in some parts. ( I'm pregnant and this is a super mager risk) The Milkshakes tasted like water pure water and a lot of air. my stomach felt twisted and needed to get sick (feeling) ... The order we made took over an hour. It seemed like kids made these. I don't get how they only hire kids you don't see adults there anymore in any. They give kids jobs when they are provided and do not need to move out or need a job yet but evey one circumstances are different. But there are so many adults needing a job to provide for there families or rent. Doesn't get one. Not in one of these places anyway. "We hiring" yet hire secondary school kids for what? there's adults that actually needs to have one. It drives me insane. if u hire kids! Make sure they know how to learn and cook food that is edible. I love McDonald's I would have thought this restaurant would have gone better after closing for a long time but it's just got worse than ever I have experienced. And cannot get a refund due to lack of evidence do you want me and my partner to take a picture of it in the bin or stomach BTW! We are both super unwell . As it didn't look so good either. Read moreHave used the take out service 3 times now and on each occasion, I have been unable to receive a receipt for my food. Not only is this very frustrating I find it really odd that a business cannot apparently print me out a copy of my food receipt. Each time it has happened it has been as a result of the self-service take out portals not being loaded with receipt rolls and when the order is finalised nothing gets printed out. I have on each occasion gone over to the till and asked for a copy of my receipt and on each occasion I have been given all the excuses in the world as to why I cannot have a receipt.
The last occasion it happened was 6th February at 8am, I ordered food and yet again no receipt was printed out! I approached the till and waited for some help, asking for a copy of my food receipt. I showed them the monetary transaction from my phone as I had paid by apple pay so I could prove I had just placed an order however the female manager told me there was no provision for them to reprint receipts and I was offered a receipt from a customer who had left theirs at the till! I find this practice absolutely ridiculous but also suspicious too as I have never known a business not have the function to reprint a receipt for a customer.
I simply cannot believe there is no function to reprint a receipt for a customer that has just placed a food order it is ridiculous.
to add insult to it on each occasion no napkins were available either. The instore service is shoddy by some margin and someone isn't doing the basics right.
I have no doubt I will not be the only one this is frustrating but I may be the only one who would raise it...
