Now open and hurrah fot that. Now run by Steve and his lovely wife. Butty Bach, Enville Bitter, local ales from AJs of Walsall, HPA are usual. All are kept extremely well. Keg Wainwright plus others, San Miguel and Guinness. Wines aren't very varied but are drinkable. Undergone a makeover without losing its character. A traditional pub with wooden floors. Improved facilities, comfortable seating. Lovely outside terraced area with unusual planters. A pity more people don't use it. Weekly live music is still a feature as are themed evenings. Acoustic guitar night (Wed), Open Mike, Vinyl nights. Comfort is still improving. Service was really good and friendly.but we felt a little awkward, as everyone in there seemed to know each other, went to sit on one of the sofas and nearly had our heads bitten off by the couple on the chairs opposite, saying the sofa was taken though the whole time we stood there noone came to sit down! Made us feel very uncomfortable. Maybe it was an off night, will try pop in again as the staff...

Popped in for a pint after work. Don’t know the area but this seems a really nice friendly pub with a nice relaxed atmosphere. Very welcoming staff and locals and a really nice pint of Guinness. Will be going back when I’m in the area working. Bet it’s a great pub for a proper night out but a bit too far for me to travel to. Must be great for locals to have such a lovely pub on...
