Visited with a friend and had an okay experience. We had a few complications with the food. The first one being, we were told we could have extra mushroom instead of the tomato on the Full English and Veggie breakfast. Unfortunately they didn’t put any extra on mine; but still removed the tomato. When my friend asked about this, they said they would need to charge us, even though they had previously said we could swap tomatoes for extra mushroom, free of charge. I had also asked for ketchup. The waitress gave us a small container of ketchup, which of course isn’t enough for the both of us, so we asked for more and again was told we would be charged for this. So my friend said nevermind, we’re not paying for that and in the end, she gave us another ketchup free of charge.
Honestly I think it’s a bit ridiculous to charge for ketchup.. especially when you serve breakfast and it’s one of the most popular condiments.
Food: 3.5/5 Overall I enjoyed my food, I had the full English breakfast and most of it was tasty. Unfortunately the beans were not very nice, I also asked for runny eggs and they were not very runny, so had to swap eggs with my friend as hers were much better (and she doesn’t care for runny care anyway) Unfortunately my friend didn’t really like her Veggie breakfast. I did taste a bit of her halloumi and it was very salty, but if you have it with a bit of ketchup it’s good.
Service: The service gets a 3/5. Wasn’t the best and wasn’t the worst. Would be great if they communicated better with the kitchen to ensure I got what I asked and paid for. I can atleast say that we was welcomed into the restaurant nicely and when the waitress took our order, she was very nice.
Atmosphere: 4/5. Very pretty and picturesque. I didn’t go into the toilets so not sure what they were like but everything else was nice. Would have given it a 5, but the carpet near the register is a big no. Not sure why they opted for carpet there, it doesn’t look very nice and there’s a lot of stains. Also the counter is veryyyy high up, it’s like they’re trying to hide the staff away. It can get annoying when you’re trying to get the attention of someone but can’t see them because of how high...
Read moreIf it was possible to rate -5 stars I would. My partner and I attended Entree for breakfast at the start of the week and received terrible customer service. The staff were unnecessarily rude and blunt and seemed as if they hated their jobs, as this was our first time going we thought we’d probably caught them on an off day and gave them the benefit of the doubt. After this we tried to make an order for collection the following week instead of dining in and received the same diabolical customer service from the same staff over the phone when ordering. I’d ask to speak to a manager once arriving but it seems as if the general staff have more authority then management. After making a complaint to “management” about our past two visit it was quick to realise birds of a feather flock together and he was just as bad as the staff. He allowed staff to disrespect customers and said nothing when staff took out their phones to record us because we tried to make a complaint. After deciding we really just couldn’t take anymore headache (or take anymore from the swarm of flies that seems to be living in the shop on our second visit) we decided to take our custom elsewhere and asked for a refund, after the transaction my partner left the shop as I waited for the receipt and the “manager” then proceeded to scream in my face telling me to “F* off out of the shop” “how we’d ruined his mood and that there was no way he was giving us a refund receipt” even when seeing I’m heavily pregnant. I will NEVER be going back there again and would strongly advise that if you’re thinking about going DO NOT! They’re genuinely not nice people and I think they’ve gone in to the wrong line of work as none of them have any people...
Read moreAfter initially wanting to try this restaurant from seeing pictures on insta and Facebook as well as friends saying it was great vibes etc whilst eating in we decided to take the plunge and order last night. We ordered on a Thursday evening 8:30pm and was first given the time of 9:15-9:30 delivery, great right? At 9:15pm the app update to say 22:00-22:15 that the restaurant needed more time.. fab.. means they want to get it just perfect right? Couldn’t be further from the truth.. the burgers (£9) each arrived luke warm, fries weee half a small bag priced at £3.. no straws for the daiquiris which where £5 and arrived in a takeaway hot drink cup.. the £6 pancakes were Luke warm 3 pancakes with no mixed fruit berries just Nutella spreader across only, no ice cream either.. whilst I was eating my burger I found a hair towards the end.. we tried to ring the shop but they had been off air and closed, I messaged their instagram oage and no response.. we spent £40 yesterday evening and have been left extremely disappointed and unhappy. I truly believe presentation and quality deserves to be given the same if you order to eat at home the same way it is given and presented as you eat inside. We did not receive that.. pictures provided.. very disappointing and unhappy no doubt nothing will be done about it either..
EDIT…. Did respond via instagram apologising and offering a free meal for 2 upon next order.. have explained We are away now until end of the month out of the area, will take them up on the offer on our return and hopefully will have a much better...
