Had a group dinner in the private room upstairs. Buffet style dinner of which there wasn’t enough to go around. A number of us had to wait for extra food to be cooked. The extra curry came out 20mins later once everyone else had finished, and the extra rice came out 15mins after that by which point everything else was cold. They never replaced any of the other food options like the somoza’s. The popadoms had gone soggy, naans like cardboard and we were sat at makeshift tables (one of which collapsed when leant on) despite good ones being unused but not allowed to sit at. The final straw being that one of the waiters decided to use the back of one of our charity raffle prizes to write a drinks order on as he didn’t have a note pad. We get have money knocked off, but quite frankly not enough in my opinion. Service wasn’t great and they tried to say we hadn’t told them about the food shortage despite the fact we told the waiter multiple times but he was more interested in taking drinks orders.

Wow just wow We loved it. So glad they moved up town. We arrived for a Sunday evening dinner out. Greeted with a smile from the amazing staff that will go above n beyond to make yr stay perfect. They have decorated the place so well, such a lovely atmosphere. And then the food. I wanted to try something different to start with and went for the duck. The name of it is on the bill. Omg the presentation and the taste WOW. Absolutely loved it. I will be asking for that as a main next time for sure. The wife had the chicken starter which she said straight away, we are coming back for more lol. The rest of the meal was just as good. Excellent presentation, taste is top notch. We highly recommend The Ark And we will be back to try the steaks next time too.

Visited recently on a Monday night. The place was deserted, maybe because of the fact that it was s bank holiday. The place has a really nice ambiance with very placed lights that give it a warm and welcoming effect. The food options are plenty and the restaurant serves almost all the dishes served in any Indian restaurant in the UK. The drink options can be improved though, especially when it comes to beers as it only serves 3 or 4 types. Lastly, their service is nice and everything was served promptly. We went for a biryani which was well made. Special shout out to their pappadams, which were fresh and the accompaniments were very delectable too.

Will say first that the food was very nice. Only two small things to say. We did choose this restaurant over our normal one in Kenilworth because it was one of the "two for one" meerkat deal restaurants so booked a table for six as it was a celebration. Meal was lovely and staff very nice. When we went to pay they said it would only be one meal off the whole bill and would not accept that that was not the idea of "two for one". We paid anyway because we didn't want to spoil the evening but left feeling very disappointed. Looking at the bill we were surprised to see they also charge £4 each for the dips to go with the poppadoms having not been asked whether we wanted them or not they gave us two. Have not been charged before at any Indian restaurant. Overall dissatisfied and won't...
