A lovely " local " style pub , with traditional decor . Good beer , great food . Sport being shown . The food we had was well presented , reasonably priced , and hot ( which I love ) , and very tasty . There was a variety of , sandwiches , jacket potatoes , burgers and other traditional pub food . It was however not very warm temperature wise . A good choice of music ( 80s ) was being played when we were there . There was a good range of ales , largers , and other alcoholic and soft drinks . Overall we had a really good visit , and would definitely go again .

This is my favourite local pub in Leamington. Best value for money eat and drink in Leamington Spa, and the most friendly hosts! I love the outside area. Good to park in the sun if the weather holds. The menu changes regularly and has a good balance of old favourites, standard pub grub and something different. The quality is good, and portions generous, especially the lamb chops and lamb shank. Amazing gravy. The bar has ā€˜visiting ales’. Always interesting.

Lovely pub known for their Roasts. As someone avoiding meat, I thought this may be a challenge, but their Nut Roast loaf was fantastic! Huge serves, delicious tastes. Wash down with a real Ale, lovely way to lunch on a rainy day. Only 5 minute walk from the canal, so boaters - moor at the bridge by The Fusiliers (who suggested it as they don't do dining), it's well worth the short walk.

My wife and I are from Florida and we were backpacking through the UK in 2005. In early evening we decided to depart the train to be near Stratford upon Avon. We walked from one end of the town to the other looking for someplace that was recommended to no avail. We finally ended up outside a wonderful pub called the New Inn. I left Sarah outside with the backpacks while I went in to ask a few questions. The pub owners, Patrick Ryan and Geraldine recommended a B&B and one of the employees even drove us there in spite of the fact they were very crowded at the pub. They also suggested we shower, freshen up and come back. They held food for us even though it was well after there serving hours. We ended up invited to the owners table for the evening until well after closing time while Patrick coached me on the "proper Way" to drink straight bourbon. We enjoyed a wonderful group of a half dozen of his friends at the table immensely. Most were younger than us but embraced us "Yanks" in the most friendly and open manner. The next day we went to Stratford upon Avon, they told us to enjoy our day and assured us we would have our meals held late again when we came back. WOW, two days there and we will always love our experience at the New Inn in...

Unfortunately I had an awful experience at this establishment. Whilst the food was great, the same cannot be said for the service. From the lack of manners to the unwarranted attitude, I felt as though I treated with complete disrespect and utter disregard. The food took an hour to come, after 40 minutes we nicely asked how much longer it would be and in return we were shouted at and told not to be rude, when an order of 4 burgers and some hummus and pitta bread should not take an hour. When the food finally came, we asked for some more ketchup and mayonnaise since we were given 1 small pot between 4, this was received poorly. Overall the lady serving came off as incredibly aggressive and rude. We do not plan to return, even after having come before with no issues. It is a shame that this is all because of one lady in a foul mood, ruining for us what should have been a nice...

What a little gem. On the surface its looks a bit tired but it adds to the character of the place. Brought the family here for a Sunday lunch and wasn't disappointed. Great food, great portion sizes for those feeling more hungry and great value for money. The staff were extremely helpful and provided great service. We did have a small issue which was unavoidable, a nail had become loose in the seating and was working its way out which caught on a party members trousers. The staff couldn't have been more apologetic. They removed said nail immediately and offered the meal for this person for free without being asked! Would definitely recommend and will...
