Greek Zante Street Leamington Spa — Restaurant in Warwick

We found this incredible place completely by accident, we were heading for anywhere to get out of the cold and grab some quick food.

Having not spent much time in Leamington Spa for a while everything was new and interesting, but our love of Greece, Greek food and Greek People lured us to take notice and it felt only natural to take a gamble and see how it was.

The warm welcome, the amazing service, the generosity of the owners (appears to be family ran) in gifting our 2 year old daughter a fruit shoot, the prompt service and amazing food in a welcoming setting is all astonishingly brilliant.

We were served by a very attentive and personable gent, and will return again for sure. We’ve already recommended this place to our freinds and family and would urge anybody thinking about visiting to go for it.

Our meal started with an impeccable Greek Salad. The most impressive part of it was the temperature, which was just right. No ingredients revealed a chilling fridge, whereas the tomato, onion, and feta cheese were so fresh. Freshness and (sun-lit. Well, don't expect that much in England) warmth, what else do I need from Greek food? The even better was the portokalopita, orange cake, which was a new homemade item to be added to the menu. We had a perfect starter and dessert, else in the middle just followed through equally well. So delighted to find this independent home kitchen in Leamington. Ordered a meal from here from Deliveroo, probably the one of the worst meals I’ve had. First of all, I received a call that one part of the order wasn’t available, that was replaced with something else (probably the only good thing on the menu as it was sold out). The food arrived cold, another part of the order was missing, the meat was gristly and the salad, included with the order was dry. The chocolate tart (replacement for the orange cake) had a very odd taste to it and the pastry case was undercooked and soft.

Spoke to Deliveroo who gave me a “goodwill gesture” refund of £12. The order was just under £60.
