Re-launched as Taaza - you MUST try this!!

I was completely blown away today. The old Chutneys had grown tired and very average. Taaza is like a phoenix from the ashes. Brand new decor, and more importantly, a fresh new menu.

And what’s more the menu is executed perfectly. The food was simply amazing. And I don’t mean bog standard amazing. The food is high end amazing. Tasty, well presented.

It has been a very long time since I had Indian food this good. You have to try the sardine starter. The biriani is made properly with a pastry sealed lid. Monk fish curry delicious. Dahl as it should be.

This place has had care and love injected back into it and it shows massively.

Well done to the team. If you can keep this standard up you will blow away the competition.

Amazing. Folks try this place. Best in Watford at the very least, probably the best in the South.

UPDATE - I went back again this week. Folks, I can confirm that my first visit was not just a one off. I once again had excellent service and really really really good food.

This place is going to be very popular. There was a group of people who had travelled from North London sitting (socially distanced) behind us.

I am so pleased this place is on our doorstep and I wish Taaza every success - boy oh boy...

Kismat Tandoori is just simply amazing! The food is so tasty. Nothing more to say about the food really. It’s just really good quality and they have such a wide range of food choices. The service is unbelievable! Everyone who has served me in this restaurant has been so kind to me. They take time to talk to me a lot and they make me feel so welcome I’m their restaurant. The atmosphere is wonderful here too. Everyone is nice in here and they play lots of nice music as well. The atmosphere is so good here and you would ever feel uncomfortable. The restaurant has very nice decoration and everything is so pretty and nicely spread out. Of of this restaurants best aspects is that every Monday and Wednesday they do a special deal. £14.95 for a starter, main, vegetable side, and rice dish. 4 items for that amazing price! Was a nice cosy restorant now called Tawaz you can get a set meal for £12.95 starter main,nans or rice thats on Mondays. Staff was nice friendly.family run restorant.lovely deco really liked it.one of the chicken starters wasn't all that bland I must say and also only got 2 small pieces I thaught that wasn't worth it nore did it taste good.also sheek kebabs starter was lovely but again 2 small pieces could have done with bit more specially because of the cost.mains was lovely tasty.had chicken balti and cod curry wow really nice.could have had a thicker curry sauce to go with it but still amazing taste i thaught.they didnt have salt or pepper pots small things make big differences though so because of the little niggly bits I've given it a 4 star but I would highly recommend it and im sure ill be coming back soon. But pls sort these little things out to make it a 5...
