I go to the costa coffee at Watford arches every single week sometimes twice a week . This is the second time I have been humiliated by a member of your staff her name is Claudia . I will be reporting her tomorrow to head office . This is unacceptable b behaviour towards a regular customer drive through The other assistant made a mistake and used my free bean coffee and I asked her I want to pay for it . The other member of staff Claudia came to the window and asked what’s your problem I explained that it is Costa app who decide if you should pay for your drink or it’s free I said no that’s incorrect I have till 16 th November to use it . I said I will call Costa head office and ask for advice . She started raising her voice and say well it’s only a little problem why call Costa I said there is no need for rudeness I said you spoke to me like this before weeks ago She kept raising her voice with the hot cup of coffee in her son which I ordered for my unwell son you would not give it to me I already paid for this. I asked can I have my coffee she kept saying you don’t need to call the manager of Costa I can explain . I said please let me have the coffee I asked four times and she continued to raise her voice telling me not to be rude. How can I be rude if I was asking to give me the coffee that I paid for and she would not give it to me . In the end she handed the coffee over and shouted out aloud have a good day I honestly can say I have never been spoken to like this before ever . She should not be working there is was intimidating in front of my ill son and other staff . As I say this is the second time she has spoken to Me like this and I will be calling her manger tomorrow morning . This happened today Sunday 20 the October 2024 around 12,45 pm. Hopefully there is a ctv in place for the...
Read moreI have visited this branch of Costa Coffee three times in the past two weeks out of necessity, and unfortunately, each interaction at the till left me feeling uncomfortable. On three separate occasions, I was served by two ladies (appearing to be Eastern European) who were consistently rude.
As a Muslim woman who wears the scarf, I couldn’t help but notice a stark difference in how they interacted with the British white customers ahead of me compared to how they spoke and behaved when it was my turn. This is the first time I have experienced something like this in the UK, and it was both upsetting and disappointing.
I do not make these comments lightly, nor am I here to accuse anyone unfairly, but the pattern is clear enough to raise concern. I hope Costa will take this as constructive feedback and ensure that all staff receive proper training to treat every customer with equal respect. We all pay the same for our coffee, and we all deserve the...
Read moreI think the staff in this Costa are too lazy to do their job. Seems to me their manager is not on site. Every time I go there, around 5:00 or 5:30 someone comes and tells me they're going to close the café early because "they're short on staff". The café is supposed to close at 8:00 and there's 3 staff working but they close early because "they're short on staff". I have been to much much busier Costa with only two people working and they still can handle the orders. This café is so quiet, with 3 people working, they can't possibly be short on staff. It's ridicules. And it's not like they give me a warning about their closing time before I make the order. Usually I've just sat for about 15 to 20 minutes when someone comes and tells me they're closing early. I think their manager is not on site and they close whenever they...
