Roti Pan Kitchen — Restaurant in Watford

Wow. what can I say about Roti Pan that all the other reviews haven't already said. I have been going to roti Pan for years and I recommend them to everyone I speak to. The jerk chicken comes fresh off the BBQ cooked right there on the high street! Proper flavour and proper flame. The curry goat is absolutely delicious, the meat falls apart and the flavour is perfect! the dumplings are amazing, the perfect mix of light and crispy, soft and fluffy. Their homemade slaw is delicious and is the perfect accompaniment to the rest of the dishes. The plantain is sticky, sweet and cooked to perfection...just get there early before they sell out! The mac and cheese is also great, lovely flavour and lovely on the side. The portions are generous and the price is extremely reasonable considering the quality these guys serve up! This place was 10/10, I did not order in store but I ordered from Deliveroo and I had to come and leave another review. This is the tastiest Caribbean food that I’ve had in Watford and I’ve lived here for 20 years. In fact, it’s probably the best I’ve had anywhere in years. The flavours were amazing, you can tell the jerk chicken came straight off the jerk pan, it was so flavourful, the rice and peas was rich in coconut, the macaroni could’ve had a bit more flavour, but when you eat everything together, you can’t even notice. The portion size was massive, it could easily feed two people. I also got a Jamaican dumpling on the side and it was so, so good, it was soft, sweet, and pillowy. I was one of the first customers when you opened your marquee shop in Watford High Street.

Today was hugely disappointed , after looking at the small meat content and watery gravy content on offer. I was compelled to ask whether there was a change of management I refuse to pay £9 for half container of rice n peas 👀(spot the peas) and tiny pieces of mashed up curry goat.
