Thyme for Tea — Restaurant in Waverley

Working at a nursery the team decided to order from a local cafe/restaurant we chose Thyme for tea and we couldn't of chosen a better place. Speaking to Errol on the phone he helped me with the process so simply and was super friendly and very good at keeping us updated etc. Then we got the sandwiches, paying and wraps and they were so fresh, so full in flavour and so filled with filling. I had a tuna panini and it was absolutely amazing, so filling and so fresh. Thank you so much for helping me sort all of this put and for the excellent food and service. Very happy girls at...

We had a delicious afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday. A really lovely welcome from Errol. He was attentive to our every need. Great value for money too. We started with a large sandwich of our choice. Then a large scone, jam and cream and a delicious selection of cakes. The chocolate dipped strawberries were to die for! Errol told us we could have takeaway boxes which we needed! Tea and coffee is also bottomless with afternoon tea. Lovely traditional tea room atmosphere. Booking recommended as they like to prepare afternoon...

Tried to have a cuppa and cake here.. don't expect speedy service this is a very relaxed pace but I think they don't like me..

First time I came here.. I bought tea and cake... and although the tea arrived I checked and they had sold the last piece of cake that I had bought.. I did get a refund but..

Second time I ordered a panni with some friends, theirs came fairly quickly.. however I had to wait an additional 5 mins for mine.. and where as my friend's got cutlery.. I did not.

Probably not...
