Ajo Il Corner Italiano — Restaurant in Wealden

Very authentic with some nice touches. The burger was lovely and fresh. The build your own sandwich was a delightful light lunch. They do a good selection of breakfast and lunch items for which I will return to try on my next trip to Forest Row. Service was pleasant and helpful. It’s a little gem.

Update. I come here whenever I’m in forest row. I really like the burger but it’s just the fact that Everton’s made up fresh for you that makes it really special....

Not overly keen.

I wanted to order mushrooms on toast and then toast for my wife. The guy behind the counter said, ‘I can’t offer toast because we don’t make much money on toast’. Understood. The but is you do make on my order. If it was just toast on its own, maybe I could understand. Maybe.

Im obsessed with Ajo! Every dish is so good. They have sandwiches that are unreal with such fresh ingredients! The pasta dishes are beautiful.. I want to eat every meal here…! Also they have gluten free sandwich options & pasta which is so good! Their Gf bread is delicious fresh which is rare....
