Today we visited the newly opened Twinn on Heathfield's High Street. Since Costa left there has been the perfect opportunity for someone to open an exciting, local coffee shop. It was a horrible, rainy day but it was nothing but warm and friendly once we ventured inside. There were several vegan food choices and alternative milk options. My wife opted for the maple and pecan cake with a oat flat white and I had the Oreo cake with a coconut chai latte. Both were extremely delicious and we couldn't help sharing as we didn't want to miss out. The atmosphere was good and it was lovely to see it busy, however my wife and I noted that Twinn needs something on the walls. They were still looking newly painted and bare. There were not even signs on the two toilets. One had a stiff lock while the accessible toilet has baby changing facilities. It was £14.20 for two drinks and two, well-proportioned cakes. That's value for money. Despite only being the second day of opening, staff worked confidently, quickly without any hiccups. One thing that would be amazing to see which I’ve seen in Brighton a couple of times. A comfortable chair in a corner somehwere reserved specially for a breastfeeding mama x
Sometimes finding seats where your not silly surrounded by people is tricky but I think I could most of the time probs my find a place here :)

I was looking forward to a tall glass of gingerbread latte with cream on top and a mini gingerbread man but it had gingerbread crumbles on top which melted into the coffee and became mushy bits of biscuit which resembled what happens when you dip your biscuit too long.
