What a fantastic restaurant, welcoming and friendly staff, beautiful setting and out of this world food. Came here with my son as a birthday treat for us both as we always wanted to try steaks from a steakhouse and we weren't disappointed. From the minute we walked in Carlos and his son made us feel like they had invited us into their home and we had known them for years. The special of the day, salmon and pak choi and chorizo were divine, and the ribeye and sirloin were cooked to perfection š The steak was like butter and the charcoal grill gives it the extra oomph. As we arrived just as it opened, the chef gave us some complimentary bread and olives as he said he didnāt want us to go hungry waiting for the charcoal grill to heat up, which was so thoughtful. When the food came it was amazing. The steak was cooked perfectly and the flavour was great. The waitress was so accommodating, checking up on us to check if our food was okay and to see if we needed anything else. This is the perfect place to go for a special meal, and we will definitely be visiting again...

We each chose a steak, and shared three side orders of chips and a very tasty creamy kale and green beans side. The waiter (son) suggested a Portuguese red wine that went well with the food. So good we had another!!! We each enjoyed a coffee with liqueur. After paying the bill the waiter then offered us each a Portuguese Anis Escarchado liqueur, a sweet smooth aniseed flavour.
