So I'll start off by saying I don't like writing bad reviews and want this to be an opportunity for suggestions to the owners as opposed to putting down the business.

When entering, we were told that there were two big orders ahead of us so there will likely be a wait which is fine and we sat down anyway. The seating area is pleasant and temperature was warm which is always nice.

After sitting down, the servers then seemed to not notice us for a good 20 minutes and proceeded to serve two tables, that sat down after us, ahead of us. Meaning that we would be more delayed. Which is disappointing. I actually had to grab the attention of one of the servers to order before the cut off. I would suggest either sitting less tables or having one server set to certain tables to ensure that people aren't missed.

We ordered 3 drinks and 3 meals. The beetroot latte that I had was delicious and would recommend. But my partner's flat white was served far too hot which does effect the quality of the coffee. The milkshake was also really nice.

The large scone was served first and was warm with a generous serving of clotted cream was really good. There was a wait (expected) for the other two dishes. We were then informed that there was no sausages left and offered alternatives and the dish to be complimentary which was unfortunate but considerate.

I have had a lot of bacon pancakes as they are a personal favourite of mine. I have never seen them presented as there were. 5 pancakes with perfectly cooked bacon sitting in a 'lake' of maple syrup. I love the genousity of maple syrup but even I though that was a bit much. The vegan sausage bap was also really good but with far too much sauce. I would always recommend serving sauces on the side as not everyone enjoys the same amount. We also had to clean the cutlery as it felt greasy to the touch.

During eating, we asked for a jug of water. I saw it sat, waiting to be served. We had to ask again for it to be delivered.

As a side note, there is a very cute dog that roams the establishment. I love dogs. But not in the eating area. Watching waitresses touch the dog and then serving the food was displeasing.

To end, the sausage bap that should have been compt wasn't. Which we should have mentioned but didn't.

All in all, I think the food was high quality but room for improvement. Maybe having a senior waitress to oversee service would be a good investment. 50/50 if I...

I utterly ADORE this Café and visit it at least once a week. In the warm season, the patio is a beautiful sun trap, with shade available, gorgeous cherry blossoms in spring, in the winter, there are patio heaters and blankets. The interior is quirky cosy with a woodland aesthetic. The staff are absolutely wonderful, charming and personable, you can tell many of the patrons are regulars they greet warmly by name, knowing their preferences, and stopping to chat - you can tell they genuinely care. And the food - ermagerd!! Gorgeous cakes, lots of homemade treats, and the cooked food is to die for, reasonably priced, locally sourced and worth every penny. Had probably the best Full English I’ve ever had just the other day. The place is dog friendly, so there are always lovely pooches about. And one thing that’s important to me is that the team is happy. You can tell they enjoy working there, and are treated well, and the place feels like a community hub. And when you’re done, check out all the lovely stuff in the gift shop. ALL the...

AMAZING staff, food, and drink.

Service is always with a smile, staff are happy to chat, the food, and drink delicious.

Hope, made me an excellent dirty chai with a wonderful design in the froth. I then stuck a lid on it and took it to my car. At least I snapped a photo!

The fresh produce is brilliant, some of it they grow, and produce themselves! All the products are carefully sourced, a lot of it local!

There is a clear emphasis on fresh produce, foods and products that are relatively if not very healthy, and are either environmentally friendly or have a minimal impact on the environment.

It is a pleasure to peruse their wares, chat to the staff, and find out about new products to try!

I come here multiple times a week for food, drink, and special "nice" little...

I had heard good things about the full English breakfast so decided to give it a go. The bacon was good and crispy, the way I like it. The beans were tasty and the granary toast, mushroom, and hash brown ok. The sausages were of good quality but cooked within an inch of their lives. Disappointed at £15 not to get a hot drink included with the meal, how much does a tea bag cost against the bottom line? Staff were friendly and happy to help. It was very busy and most tables had been reserved so was lucky to get in on a Saturday morning without booking as space is limited.
