Under new management since July 2023. Friendly staff, good beer and cocktails, wood fired pizza (no gluten free options yet) with a good atmosphere. Two bars and a garden with regular entertainment.

Brilliant pub that really exceeded expectations. Great food, drinks and staff and the Peaky Blinders themed decoration are a perfect balance without being over the top. Worth visiting!

Lovely little pub, very friendly and helpful staff. Food was absolutely delicious, fresh, home cooked, if a little too over seasoned for my taste. Will definitely come again

Obviously a popular place with a good menu. We booked for a large party with 2 vegans, pre ordering food. Unfortunately im not sure the kitchen staff understand dairy free so go careful if you have an alergy. No veg at all with the vegan nut roast just potatoes and veg on the other vegan roast appeared to have butter on it. The waitress couldn't answer if it did or didn't so not to risk it left the veg. No milk alternatives for coffee either and only sorbet for a dairy free pudding. Very behind the times. On a positive note the rest of the service was good and the meat eaters enjoyed their food. Not happy having to come home and cook for hungry vegans after paying...

I really admire this place. I think it has a lot of effort and pride put into it by the group of people who run it. There's a mix of styles going on that seems to work because you get the sense of peoples characters melding into one space, from traditional pub, peaky blinders references, carribean food and feminine touches. I feel really welcome here and love watching the people who work here and I usually avoid pubs so that says a lot. Also great thing is the dog water bowl so I often pass this pub as a dog walking route and my dog always seems keen to go in so he...

Really nice little village pub! Quite a hectic atmosphere which we actually really enjoyed, was lovely being around lots of people having a good time.

The food was really fantastic, I had a surprisingly light and flavourful rack of ribs with lovely Slaw and chips. My partner had a chicken and brie burger which she enjoyed but I think we both would have quite liked some greenery somewhere on the plate. Completely understand if they forgot however as it was very busy.

Overall a...
