Absolute disgusting customer service. My partner asked for a bigger jacket potato and how fresh the cake was, which they considered rude, as a result, on the following day they refused to serve my partner the egg in a sausage, egg and bacon sandwich. I’m absolutely appalled at how they could take offence over asking about their produce items and refuse to serve items as punishment for asking perfectly normal questions. If you can’t handle customer questions regarding food they purchase and consume in this day and age, you’re in the wrong business. Seems like this place has a real vendetta against customers they don’t like, if such offends them I’d be cautious of what they’re doing to your food if your face doesn’t fit or you ask for more toppings! Deep rooted issues, bizarre and baffling. Stay away.

Update: Just called the shop and spoke to Lynn the manager (I’m not one for unfair or unjust reviews) and I can absolutely say she has no idea how to converse. It’s laughable as I’ve never experienced anything like this in my whole life. Very defensive, extremely unhelpful, did not like being questioned so she put the phone down. Shockingly bad.

A real hidden gem! We have been visiting frequently during lockdown and are consistently blown away by the quality of the food here, from the paninis to the pastries, cakes and sausage rolls. The scotch eggs and the chorizo sausage rolls in particular are absolutely amazing. Staff always friendly as well, and a great range of locally sourced snacks such chocolates, crisps and sweets. Cannot recommend...

Great place to grab a nice breakfast baguette and other freshly made sandwiches. If you would like fried eggs, pay them a visit before 10am. On my next working visit to St John's school I will be going back again. Staff were great and easy...
