This is the 3rd time I purchase large order for a party from them. This last time I spent over £80 on pastries and sausage rolls for a pick up only to find the they threw everything in two paper bag!!! The last two large order I made they presented it well with large boxes and it was such a hit for the party. Hence why I keep coming back.

This time the worker was rude when I ask if I can place the pastries in a box and instead of giving me a party platter box, he put it in smaller boxes and again he put it in a paper bag… he also mutter and rolled his eyes as if I’m not the paying customer and me asking for a box goods was a crime. Mind you, I wouldn’t mind paying more for the box and his service if that’s what was needed but nope. Just rude service when I’m a regular customer. So sadly, id be thinking twice going back again for...

They don't accept cash. This is simply a violation of our human rights. No signs anywhere stating this, I had a good look for one too. I think this is on purpose to mislead customers into the establishment and queue for a good few minutes, order their food etc, and only when they go to pay are they told they dont accept cash! Customers then have to decide whether to abandon what they just ordered and waited for, or begrudgingly pay by card! Place was stuffy and too hot, staff were miserable and didn't look like they wanted to be there. Will never return due to them not accepting legal tender. In a small market town, this is not supportive of the locals at all. No signs anywhere staying they do not accept cash. This should be clear on ENTERING, but they won't do this as they know they'll lose half...

Unfortunately you can’t score lower than one. Will never return here again. it certainly isn’t a pram, mother and baby friendly place! It’s shocking that this day and age, as a mother I felt uncomfortable in your establishment.. tuts and groaning whilst I tried to get to a table to sit down.. I’ve never felt so embarrassed and out of place.. staff members clearly moaning between each other.. I sat down near the window and folded the pram and tucked it away behind a chair so it wasn’t in the way .. maybe some, Work should be done on customer service.. clearly not on anyone’s top priority in your company.. maybe your staff was right.. I would be better suited “round the corner at greggs” they certainly have much more variety...

A busy spot brimming with pasties and queues for pasties. While the sweet pastries were good, not great, the pasties rightly stole the show. Of the 4 I tried, the best was the Beef & Chipotle (too many tame fillings within the most robust of jackets in my opinion). Service was confused. I could sense rage within the queue for hot drinks, which couldn't keep up with the pasties being dashed into paper bags. 15 minute wait for a cappuccino. Others in the queue waited a similar amount of time. The Christmas spirit softened the blow, fortunately.

This photo was taken mere seconds before the packet of brown sauce exploded under the merest hint of pressure from my clumsy hands, coating the pasty, the table, my phone and anybody else who happened to be in a nuclear blast zone range of Bury St Edmunds. On the plus side, the staff were brilliant at helping get me cleaned up, the pasty was delicious (if a little brown saucy) and the hot chocolate very nice indeed. Go on. Treat yourself. Just go easy on the sauce...

Who doesn’t love a Cornish pasty? Well I do, and I’ve tried the vegetable one and cheese and onion and it’s a proper traditional and tasty. They also do great pastries, everything is made fresh on site. You can taste the freshness. It’s got a good atmosphere, but can get very busy. They do allow pets inside, which is not for me. All in all, definitely a great place to try.
