De Maravilla Tapas — Restaurant in West Suffolk

As a Spanish person living in the UK for more than 7 years, I can say that this is the most authentic Spanish cuisine I have been able to enjoy in the UK! Carlos was very welcoming and made it possible for me to share the food I grew up with and the Spanish atmosphere with my partner and his family -- it genuinely felt like being back to the north of Spain! All the tapas we ordered were exquisite and cooked super quickly -- and Carlos was on his own! We shall definitely come back to this hidden gem in Haverhill when we are around, totally recommend! P.S.: If you are vegetarian, "patatas bravas", "patatas alioli", "tortilla de patata (Spanish tortilla)", and "paella vegetariana (veggie paella)" are a must! If you eat meat/fish, you should definitely go for "mejillones (mussels)", "croquetas de jamón (ham croquetas)", "pollo al ajillo (garlic chicken)", and "paella de marisco (seafood paella)" -- this was literally our menu, but there are many more meals you...

First off, the chef and waitress were so friendly and welcoming. We asked for suggestions of what to order and we were not disappointed. The various tapas arrived at a nice pace and everything was hot and so tasty, everything is home made from scatch. We ordered beers, wine and sangria-the sangria was absolutely delicious and potent lol. We enjoyed everything we tried and at the end of the meal we were presented with a complimentary dessert and shot! I would highly recommend this wonderful restaurant and would encourage people to support this...

This place is exceptional. The food is to die for, the staff could not have been more helpful. Good selection of wines (even if they do chill the rioja). The tapas was amazing, great selection for meat lovers and vegetarians alike. Good size portions and all hot. Desert was amazing cream, biscuits, sugar and pineapple.....no idea what it was called but I could have eaten at least 3. Oh and the fire water...I had two...a shovel to the back of the...
