Mr Greek — Restaurant in West Suffolk

Last year, I discovered this small Greek restaurant in Newmarket that's become my family's favourite treat.

I have always gotten the chicken skewers and the family likes the pork gyros with Greek yoghurt. Their meat has always been tender & tasty - feels like it's just honest, delicious food prepared by a couple who clearly love what they do. The husband works the grill, crafting the meals with a smile, while his wife moves between kitchen and tables like you're dining at a friend's home.

The neighbourhood is quiet, nothing extravagant, which is ideal for my family, and there's plenty of free parking. We've been back countless times since that first visit, and we'll keep coming back. Well...

Here you’ll find tasty, authentic and fresh Greek Gyros. The portions are generous and at a reasonable price!

This place is staffed and run by a Greek family who were very friendly, chatty and obviously serious about making great food.

This is my new go-to and is bound to become a local favourite! Look forward to watching this place...
