What a lovely find down St John's Street! On a rainy afternoon we came upon this charming cafe in need of warming drinks and a sweet treat. Such lovely staff and a charming rustic environment to sit and enjoy the refreshments. We can't always get our specialised requirement for coffee ( decaffeinated flat white with oat milk) but no problem here. We shared a piece of the carrot cake (my husbands favourite and he's tried a few!) and it was delicious! We perused the breakfast menu while we were there and it was full of variety and sounded delicious. Can't wait to come back again to try more!

Wow, wow, wow! Stunning venue, the epitome of rustic charm combined with the ethical credentials most of us can only dream of. Supporting local refugees whilst being treated like royalty. My little girls were delighted and allowed, ney encouraged to revel in the beautiful gardens and even given watering cans to join in the fun. The food was exquisite. My taste buds blown with some delicious combinations. Mint, vegan feta and the sweetest watermelon being a particular highlight. Pickled rhubarb is also now on my favourites list. How I wish I lived closer!

This place is a must to visit. 3 Minute walk from centre of town and tucked down St Johns street and near the church. The cafe provides a quiet space to enjoy lunch. There is outdoor and indoor seating plus, this is a dog friendly and child friendly environment. The main reason for my review is to say I have eaten the best Greek salad (on pitta) today, which I have ever eaten.. and that includes when on holiday in Greece! Cake selection is homemade and spectacular too and all great value for money. Top choice to visit when in Bury.

We have always struggled to find any solely vegetarian/vegan restaurants in East Anglia and we were astounded to find this on our doorstep. We have lived here for over 20 years and only stumbled across this fantastic cafe in the last two months. They are the most welcoming group of volunteers, providing great service to us and our little Whippet. The excellent service is accompanied by absolutely wonderful vegetarian/vegan food. We have sampled most of the mains, specials and desserts, and have never been disappointed...the only trouble is choosing which meal to enjoy when they are all so tasty, well presented and reasonably priced. ...
