Costa Coffee — Restaurant in Wigan

Had to wait for quite a while to be served as there was only 1 person serving. Lots of tables full of plates and used mugs. 2 other males appeared from the back and started clearing the tables and then got the queue down. We was served by a lovely young gentleman who explained what my mum needed to ask for when we next visit, as she does not like a strong coffee. My my. Filthy and dirty. Trays are so dirty, not getting cleaned and re-used all the time. Tables are the same,not one table has seen a cleaning cloth all day long. I know they sometime s work with only one person behind the counter and are surely undertaffed. Pastries and aren't fresh, often there are unsold pastries for a week on the counter. Have a look abroad where fresh pastries and cakes are getting...

This is without doubt the finest coffee shop in the world, the staff are kind and courteous and always greet me with a smile, even behind their masks.

Their tea, coffee and hot chocolate are second to none, anybody who suggests otherwise is simply wrong and will never change my mind. I suggest you get down and try their luxurious hot beverages before...
