Fatbird Live Lounge — Restaurant in Wigan

Went to this venue tonight to sample the Thursday night acoustic jam night and wasn’t disappointed, the compere Tom was in good form (if you don't mind the odd expletive). The venue takes you back years to when you were in your teens (I’m 75) and live music wasn’t Karaoke. Decent bar, didn’t sample food but believe it to be reasonable. The audience were appreciative. Location in town centre close to mainline and regional rail station and bus station, parking not good if you are driving. Only opens Thursday - Sunday. All in all an enjoyable evenings...

It was a dark and cool Saturday evening when we have rocked for a few drinks. My friend, lets call him jeff, could not read the menu - he's a bit special and did not have his glasses on, so I have chosen a zombie for him. I am foreign and cannot speak englisn very well. But coctaicoc were good and staff are lovely. Nice people come here, no pretentious idiots like in other places here in lovely wigan. I fancy a pie, like an apple and pork and maybe some mustard...

Tonight was our first visit to see the incredible Jamie Webster. What a gem of a place! Fast, organised entrance with friendly door staff. The venue for a gig is brilliant, great view no matter where you stand. Tonight was a sell out but still plenty of room to have a dance to the boss tunes. Bar staff efficient and friendly.
