GREEK SOUVLAKI — Restaurant in Wigan

First and last time I’ll get food from here. Waited 2.5hrs for delivery and was told the Just Eat drivers were not in the area… I asked if I could come and collect to then be told it’s with the driver now??? Staff on the phone twice said they’ll call me back with an update and I waited and waited… rude and abrupt when talking to me. When it finally arrived it looked like this and was stone cold and went straight in the bin.

Edit: thanks for the reply. I’m all for supporting local and new businesses. However, your customer service is questionable and the fact you never called back twice when promised makes me think you don’t actually care about people’s opinions and reviews of your ‘new’ business. Might be worth a little training on the staff.

EDIT: 4/6/24 A year later… I’m a man of my word. If I don’t like something I will say. However if I like something I will also say! It’s unfair of me not to edit this review from 1/5 to 5/5…

I went back. I tried again as people were saying it’s good…and wanted to see if my bad experience was a mishap or one off. 2 x chicken gyros ordered. Took 20 Mins to be delivered and it was lovely! Tasty, still very warm and fresh and I will definitely be ordering...

Ordered delivery tonight. It came 35 mins late, food was cold, ordered Chicken green salad and received half a chicken breast cut up with a ton of iceburg soggy lettuce and a couple of cherry tomatoes with no sauce/dressing etc I'd have thought they'd at least put some taziki on it and a couple of pitta breads for the price I paid for it, you get a better chicken salad from maccies and that's saying something. Husbands food was stone cold aswell but he said it tasted ok could have just put abit more meat and salad on his gyros. Very suprised because we love it when it's on the retail in...

We both agreed it's one of the worst takeaways we've had.... Starting with the chips (which were thrown on both our mains....these chips were , soggy but overdone, they weren't crisp on the outside but were brown and soggy, I think they need to change their frying oil maybe (gross). One of us ordered the halloumi as a starter and it was literally 2 greasy slices chucked in a box. I at least expected it on a bed of salad/with garnish as it was £6ish so presentation-wise it was awful too. Overall the food was bland, unhealthy and generally not very pleasant. Won't be...
