šŸ“The Curiosity Mill, 15 Welch Hill St, Leigh WN7 4DU @The Curiosity Mill is such a gorgeous space for your kids! If you haven’t visited, you need too! There are four rooms all together, all with really fun activities to allow your children’s imagination to run wild! I LOVED the decor, so many cute things! Heidi loves role play so this place was perfect for us! 😌 @thecuriositymill is such a calm environment, when you are there you forget all about the outside world! Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and the first Saturday of the month @mummysminimonster use the space and create fabulous tuff trays for children to explore! Lots which are great to help develop fine motor skills, and each week there is a different theme to the trays! It’s great! At the end of the sessions your babe gets a biscuit, they read a story and have some bubbles to finish 🫧. You can book sessions through both @mummysminimonster and @thecuriositymill ā° Sessions vary from 1 hour and 1 and a half. 1 hour wasn’t enough for Heidi but would of probably been enough for Zach! So I would book a longer session for toddlers/pre schoolers. šŸ’° Session prices start at Ā£6.50 to around Ā£8 depending on what session you choose! šŸ§‘ā€šŸ§‘ā€šŸ§’suitable for children up to 6 years šŸš—Free parking available. ā¬†ļø It is up some stairs so I recommend if you have small children carrying them in. I’m not too sure if there is a pram store so best messaging beforehand. 🌈✨🫧 There are also sensory items that you can buy! Great if you want to create a sensory bag your babe! Gorgeous place and so worth a visit! #CapCut #mumsoftiktok #family #fyp

The Curiosity Mill is our favourite place to go and play! Each area is so inviting for little ones with so many weird and wonderful provocations. All the areas encourage imaginative and creative play with the open ended resources and it’s so easy for adults to get immersed in their child’s play as well which I love. The space is such a relaxing and calming environment and Leanne is so lovely. It’s a perfect opportunity to chat with other parents whilst children explore in a safe space. The sessions are limited in terms of numbers so it’s never overcrowded or overwhelming. It’s just the most amazing play space.

5 stars without a doubt! Creative, sensory, messy & imaginitive play & more i cant think of. If you haven't been, then you need to! THE best place for pre schoolers. My grandson loves coming here. He always heads straight to the playdoh (which is scented & smells amazing by the way). Yesterday he absolutely loved the new messy play area that has recently been created. My favourite is the room with the house set up, vintage dolls prams etc, so much thought has gone & still does go into this little gem of a place. You better be quick as it books up sooo fast. No overcrowding like other play centres, 8 children per session which means you can pretty much play with what you want, when you want. Hot drinks are available to buy along with snacks. Toilet & nappy changing facilities are also available. I've been coming here for quite a while now & the lady who owns it, (sorry can't remember your name) is lovely. She recognises the children as soon as she sees them. Bookings only to make it fair. Big šŸ‘ šŸ‘ up from me & Oliver aged 2.5yrs,...

Amazing!! We go most weeks and it never gets repetitive, some occasions we don’t even leave one room. It’s lovely to spend quality time playing together. Leanne is amazing, nothing is too much trouble. She remembers names, your drinks order and loves getting involved playing with the children and babies. The Curiosity Mill is homely and welcoming and FULL of all the toys and learning opportunities you wish you had time and space for at home. If you’re after a ā€˜dump and go’ style play centre with a cafe and somewhere to pretend you’ve not got children, then this isn’t for you. If you’re after quality time with your child, purposeful play, fun and learning and a chat with some other lovely parents, aunties, grandparents then get yourself on a waiting list...

I booked our daughters 3rd Birthday party at The Curiosity Mill and it couldn't have been more perfect. The party ranged from children 8 months old to 11 years old and when you looked around the children weren't just entertained, but actively engaged with the activities. A few parents commented that their child was so calm when the session ended, not like normal children's parties where they are a bit overstimulated. The space is beautiful and every little corner is thoughtfully created by Leanne with such attention to detail. I even caught the adults playing in the sensory rice or painting a picture when they thought no one was looking! The 90 minutes flew by and such special memories were made, we will be back...
