Starbucks Coffee — Restaurant in Wigan

My train was delayed this morning by 20 minutes, wonderful, now i have to turn up to work again late and have to deal with that awkward situation. Myself looking shamed face as i walk into the office building having to avoid the eyes of discontempt from my fellow workers. Because my train was late, i thought i would pop into starbucks, there was quite a long queue, i feel they should add a VIP queue so people can skip the queue. This however, would backfire on me as i would not been given VIP access and therefore, have to watch VIP people push in front of me. I decided on the healthy porridge option, the porridge was nice, lumpy but in a nice way, also i was given a honey pot which was a nice little thoughtful add on. I will probably visit this place again as they looked like they had some interesting breakfast items on sale. However, it is expensive in there so i will still probs go Subway and Greggs mostly, and get the breakfast and a drink deal for £2. This Starbucks branch quickly became a favourite of mine, however, the service has been very disappointing lately. This is the closest Starbucks in my area, but is still pretty far away, so I usually order online. I imagine that the service inside the store is probably great, but be cautious if you're ordering online from a service like Just Eat or Uber. I've attempted to order twice, on two different days and both online orders were not accepted, and when looking at the email/texts letting me know the order has been cancelled, it doesn't explain any reason why. I'd rather not risk trying to order again, only to have the refund bounce back a few days later. It's a shame, because I really like the food and drink here, but I'm probably going to go somewhere more consistent and reliable...

Visited here with a friend recently. One of the girls serving had an attitude problem and seemed to suggest I was making it up when I had asked for a decaff Cortado. The girl who must have made the error I don't have a problem with as she was friendly and polite. Everyone makes mistakes but the girl with the attitude seemed to have a complex about something. She had already made a snappy and weird remark when I made an error with the PIN number on my card [I have anxiety problems and sometimes get things like this wrong]. It spoiled things slightly and the place was very busy, which we didn't expect. The ham and cheese toastie was ok but nothing special.
