This is my favourite Burger King. I would love to have given a 5 star review, however there is something that lets it down lately. The interior temperature of the restaurant. I have noticed that there is a particular member of staff, whenever they are working, the doors to the restaurant are kept open. On a cold day, I like to get inside and have a warm meal. However, my usual lunchtime haven is now more like the inside of an igloo. As I type this review from inside the restaurant, there is a woman, literally shivering, while she’s waiting for her partner to finish his food. On another recent visit, I came in for lunch with a colleague and we closed the doors as we entered. By the time we had ordered our food and sat down, one of the restaurant staff had come out of the kitchen and proceeded to open the doors again. We were the only customers at the time and I spoke to the staff member and explained that the restaurant was very cold with the doors open, to which he replied, “well we’re roasting back there” and then he walked back to the kitchen. Read moreMy grandson asked for an ice cream and was given a huge tub of Ben & Jerry’s. When I asked about this, they said he had asked for a large but he did not. It was frozen so hard that we could not eat it for half an hour. We ended up taking it home in the car. The staff had informed us that you had to wait 10 minutes for it to defrost. Who wants to sit and wait while the desert defrost? Also it was given to him with no spoon so how he was supposed to eat it, I do not know. Terrible service...
