My friend who is a regular recommended the cafe as it was recently awarded awards. Positives:- The food was as requested, nice and pleasant, cooked as requested. I ordered a breakfast, my friend's ordered the same, and my wife eggs benedict. Negatives:- Firstly I have never queued for cafe especially an 45 minutes stood outside with a 2 year old with nowhere to sit and the whole cafe staring is not ideal.. next regular customers can jump the queue, that would of made me leave buy pur friends where adamant that it was nice inside.. other customers just sent one person to block an entire table of five off, until there friends arrive... GET A BOOKING SYSTEM IN PLACE. And prioritising regulars not good you won't grow as business with this inward business practice. The cafe only had two high chairs for the entire place.. not ideal had to sit baby on wife's lap as didn't want fo wait standing on the front in the cold with a 2 year old watching regulars get seated any longer.. Waitress took our order only to return to ask how many bacon, eggs and toast etc surely this would be asked the first time.. more delay.. Lastly its very difficult to have a conversation as it's very loud so expect to shout across your table.. BUT the food was nice for a breakfast.. Disappointed for all the hype but I suppose what you expect for a lonely village with one cafe welcoming to locals snd regulars but not to visitors to the area... Ps for all this joy £48 paid for 3 breakfasts 1 eggs benedict and toast for baby 2 coffees 1 apple juice 1 orange

Found this lovely cafe, parking just outside. Seating outside and inside. Came here for breakfast and really enjoyed it. Full English £9.00 , coffee extra. Breakfast was delicious, lovely sausages and good quality bacon and not greasy. Beautifully presented . The staff were lovely and very helpful and once ordered came out quickly. Make sure you come here, good quality food. Superb.

Had a lovely lunch on a Saturday which was quite busy. Lots of variety of food to choose from. Only thing that could be improved on is the Specials board. When someone is sitting at the table in front of it you can't see anything written near the bottom of it. Otherwise it was a great experience and the staff are very friendly and attentive. Food was lovely too

Starting visiting this bistro/cafe last summer, since then we have been going on a regular basis. The staff are very welcoming and helpful during these difficult times. Nothing is ever a problem and they really do go above and beyond.

The food is delicious, fresh and such a good price and variety

We’ve been getting takeaways there once a week and the food has always been great.

Hot breakfasts, hot and cold lunches and tasty coffee.

Obviously haven’t been able to dine recently, last visited over Christmas the service was superb as always.

Thank you Aroma and can’t wait to come back for more...

Probably a nice enough place, but myself and a group of friends on a visit were unable to find out - we arrived for a late lunch at about 2:40pm to be told they stopped serving food at 2:30pm! What sort of a café stops serving sandwiches, wraps and toasties half way through the day?! It's not as though the place was closing; seems it's open until 5pm. Apparently they don't serve soup anymore either, even if it we had arrived before 2:30pm, so maybe it was a blessing in disguise that we ended up going somewhere else for soup & sandwiches rather than having to settle for...
