Brunch Eastham — Restaurant in Wirral

Extremely poor customer service. When I asked for prices (I don’t wear glasses), the staff was rude and even asked if I could read—completely uncalled for.

After eating there, I assumed they would provide a bin for my drink cup (like they do for the plates I used), but instead he refused and said, “Can you throw the van away you didn’t buy this drink here ?” It turns out there was a bin behind the kitchen, but he still wouldn’t let me use it because I didn’t buy the drink there how petty..

Judging by other reviews, this seems to be his usual behavior: petty, dramatic, and dismissive toward customers. Basic courtesy and professionalism clearly aren’t priorities here.The guy got too much female symptoms as you can see by the other reviews maybe take some customer service classes and would defiantly recommend parkside which is also a local cafe much more friendly and make you feel welcome.

Lovely staff, so nice and helpful. Food was plentiful and the tea spot on! Claire out front was great to chat to and my hubby visits that often, she knows his order. They were lovely with our dog too. Offered him water as soon as we entered. A gem of a place. The only reason for 4 stars on atmosphere was that this is a café not a candles and soft music place/sports bar/venue. Not sure any cafe could score more 🤣. Lovely and clean and tables were big enough to actually enjoy your food without being on top of each other...

Twice I've been in here now on way down to Wales. Great wee cafe, seating inside, parking outside and on main road with good close connections to and from motorway. Much better than motorway services and the lassie (Claire I think) is lovely. Well worth the short drive off motorway 3 item breakfast roll, toast or bread...£2.85.... Can't beat that!
