Domino's Pizza - Bromborough — Restaurant in Wirral

First visit to the area, as we drove past we saw that there was a sit in domino's. Called to ensure we can sit in and eat a collection deal meal and they agreed this was the case. Turn up 15 mins later to see the upstairs totally closed (where there's loads of tables) baring in mind it was only 6pm on the day before Christmas eve. Downstairs consists of only 6 chairs right in front of the entrance which we could sit at due to having our 3 year old with us. Giving its December it's absolutely freezing so any food would have gone cold very quickly. Waited to speak to staff for 5 mins whilst they were talking amongst themselves and explained I had my toddler with me so could they open upstairs if we promised to clean etc and was abruptly told no. Terrible customer service and very glad we didn't chance eating here after seeing previous reviews. Think staff need to be reviewed and taught...

Ordered via phone, as soon as I came in, I paid for the pizzas. Unfortunately, I was not given a receipt, and the driver who I paid left to deliver pizzas, when my pizza was made, I picked up the pizza boxes to leave, Subaru Man said you have to pay, i told Subaru Man that I had paid, he said you couldn't have paid as it was a phone order, I then carefully said to Subaru Man that I phoned in then paid when I came in, Subaru man failed to grasp the simple sentence and then further challenged me until he must have seen the receipt stating the order had been paid. The ill mannered Subaru Man could not even be bothered to apologise for his mistake as all the brain cells in his head had been exhausted, and a software update was required. When this occurs, I think the staff are taken upstairs to recuperate, that's why upstairs is now always closed as they require...

Best pizza anywhere. Only giving 3 stars, as there's always, always a wait to be served, standing at the counter, even though you're the only customer in the shop.

I've had to wait about 5 mins here before, having ordered over the phone, while being able to see my name on the screen as saying "Ready" the whole time I was stood there. Staff just carried on making pizzas in front of me, without acknowledging my existence.

This is the norm here, although it's normally a couple of mins, rather than 5, which was extreme and really frustrating... especially since the guy who eventually served me had been stood in view the whole time and didn't make any mention it apology...
