My boyfriend and I decided to pay our first visit here on the spur of the moment. When we arrived the place was heaving. We were very fortunate to get the only empty table.

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They genuinely appeared to enjoy their jobs.

The food was superb. Any changes to items on the menu were accommodated without any fuss.

I just had a couple of mezes while my boyfriend had a meze and a main.

The portion sizes were generous.

First, I had Kofta. I asked for it to be served with garlic yoghurt instead of their usual signature tomato sauce. They were the best koftas I have ever tasted. Very tender with a delicate spice, but definitely not spicy.

We both had the charcoal grilled halloumi. It was grilled to perfection and was really light and "fluffy", not rubbery like some other halloumi I've had in restaurants before. Neither was it as salty.

My boyfriend had the grilled seabream. He said it was delicious with a delicate flavour.

The kitchen was fully visible so you could see your food being prepared. The whole restaurant ran like a well oiled machine. As soon as anyone left, their table was cleared and cleaned straight away.

The atmosphere was great. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves. There was music playing in the background and the volume was just right. It was loud enough to be able to hear it but not so loud as to make conversation difficult.

We shared a baklava for dessert which was delicious. We then finished with a coffee. My boyfriend has an Irish coffee and I had a Calypso. It was a perfect end to a perfect meal.

The prices were very reasonable.

I'd highly recommend you give this place a try...but ring ahead first and book to avoid disappointment!

We will definitely be making a...

I went with my girlfriend as we have both drove past this and wanted to try it out. First impressions - The place is very tastefully done out. We had booked a table for a Saturday at 7 and when we stepped through the door it was very busy but we were greeted within seconds and taken to our table. The staff were very friendly and were always at hand to offer advice or for drinks. We didn't have a starter and went straight for the main. We had the Karisik for two. This is (copied and pasted from the website) "A taste of all our Kebabs for two people to enjoy! Adana, Kuzu Shish, Tavuk Shish, Pirzola, Acili Tavuk, Ribs and Chicken wings". This is served with bread, rice and peppers. We asked about a side and were recommended a yogurt and bread disk by the waitress. The food was very plentiful and absolutely gorgeous. I had to bully my girlfriend to keep eating as there is no way I was going to leave anything. In summary the service was wonderful, the atmosphere great, food lovely and it was definitely value for money. We will...

NEW CHESTER ROAD PLACE..... Absolutely disgusted at this place. If I could give a 0 I would. Ordered food at 8pm, spent £50. It's my birthday today and wanted to try something different. Turns up and no main meal and one meal which wasn't as described on the menu. Rang they came back 35 minutes later, with only one meal not 2. Rang back and the lady insisted I was lying and I had the order, which has me absolutely outraged, and said I couldn't get a refund if they've delivered the food, yet the hadn't that way the whole problem!! it has ruined which has been a lovely day. 2 hours later still no food, rest of it is cold so can't eat that, honestly stay away. The staff are vile. Haven't been able to eat anything and £50 out of pocket!!! Off to McDonald's better...

Went to this hidden gem for a meal after some drinks and I was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food. Between the 3 off us we got the hot meze platter and that was a meal on it's own... a wide selection of meats and hot food I.e halloumi bites all tasted fresh and very good Then we each ordered a different kebab, I got a mixture of 3 chicken, lamb, and a spicy sausage variety (see the photo) cannot fault it ended up taking it home in a doggy bag for tea the next day as I was so full and it tasted as good the next day. The portion sizes are huge and the food is 5*, the staff were friendly and polite will definitely be going again in the future.

Was easy to book a table. Probably because it was a week day. Warm smiling welcome. Offered us a choice of seats. Gave us enough time to pick our meal from the vast choices that was there on the menu. The waitress was very helpful in letting us know about the portion sizes so we don’t over order. The bread with the dips was so soft from inside but crunchy on the top. The platter for 2 was big enough for the 4 of us Portion sizes was good. Could have been a bit more spicer. But meat was tasty and juicy. Enjoyed our meal. Even got 10% Nhs discount.
