My parents said they'd visited here over 10 years prior, and I can now see why this business is still here! After walking in as the only people in at 5:30, we were seated and got our drinks straight away. The fabulous lamb kebabs held us over until our delicious main course arrived, which also was spectacular. The atmosphere is great, cozy and and the servers polite and conversational. I would advise to take advantage of the bring your own drinks due to the prices of those drinks, but I'm pleased with the value and exceptional quality, and also the service. I can understand people claiming busy times, because this is a restaurant you should definitely visit.

We went tonight as part of a curry club trying different restaurants on the wirral. We were warmly greeted by the staff and sat down at the table of 6.We were a little cramped but it was not worth making a fuss. The waiter came and took our orders after we had been served with our poppadoms and condiments which were very tasty Our different starters came out without much of a wait and were also very nice.We all had different curry's and rice and naans and cannot fault the food and the amount we recieved. All in all it was a great night and would highly recommend to anyone who loves a good curry

Spot on Indian. Food was fresh and good portions. Maybe £2-3 more than other Indians local but well worth it. Can take your own ale. Sundays and Wednesdays they have a special night, basically less than half price. On a normal night, roughly £20 will get you popadoms, starter, main with rice and a naan bread. The meat in the mains is more than enough and very chunky, falls apart, beautifulky cooked. All naans are freshly baked. Top place to eat. Perfect for dates or bigger partys. Also delivers.

We were meeting good friends here for a catch up, so we were all looking forward to the evening. In the past The Ruhi was always the place to go , you always enjoyed good food and a warm and friendly welcome. Not this time, it was the total opposite! When we arrived, the waiter was propping himself up against the bar with his arms folded. I said hello.....he totally ignored me. Luckily our friends were already seated so we just made our way over to them. I ordered sheek kebab to start, it was so salty and swimming in oil. Not a good start. My sister in law had channa on puri, the chickpeas were as hard as rock and the bread was impossible to cut. My main was tandoori chicken, which always used to be delicious, it was quite dry and tough as if it had been re-heated a few times. The others weren't impressed with their meals either. No body came and asked how our meals were. Needless to say that will be the last time we visit. The waiters there were always happy to see you, this bunch here last night were so miserable! Normally the restaurant would be quite busy no matter what day it was, last night it was out table of 4 and another table of 4. I you want a decent meal with decent service...

Came here tonight to celebrate my friends 20th birthday. Booked the day before and expected there to be a table for us to sit at upon arrival. We were made to wait 20 minutes for our table and after being told by the waiter ‘You have to order a main’ we were then moved tables, which we were happy to do. However after when our starters arrived they were stone cold so had to be sent back. We then waited an hour and a half for our mains and noticed people who had ordered after us we’re getting their food. I politely asked the waiter if he could check on our food and how long it would be to which I was very rudely told ‘we’re busy’ and ‘other people didn’t get starters’. The staff were all very rude towards me and many other customers tonight and I’m quite frankly disappointed as I have been here years before and had nothing but good things to say. I have been left in disbelief and will never...

I visited today with a group of friends as a get together for not seeing eachother for a while, the food was great as always however can’t say the same for the young waiter. The waiter came to take our order and called us “a load of bitches” for ordering a chicken tikka. He then continued to call the young women we were with “bitches” for when they ordered korma. If this wasn’t enough he said he was only 20 and even he could handle more spice than us in which we apparently needed to grow up! He continued to tell us how he had to be the manager as none of the other staff could speak English ( his words) he then continued to walk past our table on multiple occasions vaping. We all absolutely love coming to this restaurant however were disgusted by this waiters actions today and the overall experience had been dampened by...
