Muzzy’s Breakfast House — Restaurant in Wirral

We’ve visited a few times now, always left happy. Today was no exception. On arrival we were told immediately the kitchen is very busy with in house and online orders, no problem it’s Easter weekend after all and I’m writing this review to say a massive well done to all staff working today. The place was very busy with staff literally running around to keep everyone happy. Unfortunately there was a few less understanding and polite customers inside who I’d like to remind it was a BH Monday mid morning. Eye balling staff who are running around is not helpful but rude and entitled. Staff did everything they could today and please pass our compliments to everyone. And to the woman sitting by the window with two little girls huffing and puffing the entire time - I hope you’ll teach your daughters treating service staff far more polite than you did yourself today. This was my first visit. I have heard many good things about this place so I had to try it out for myself. On entering you are greeted with quirky Turkish decoration and a lot of fake flowers dotted about the place that to me are just dust gatherers lol. Staff where very welcoming and friendly. A great varied drinks and food menu. I just opted for a fresh orange juice and the traditional English breakfast. I opted for no mushrooms and gladly I was asked if I wanted another item in replacement which is always a plus in my book. The drink arrived quickly with a nice slice of orange in the glass too. The breakfast arrived on a very well sized plate. I could not fault it at all. All ingredients tasty and top quality and the black pudding cooked correctly unlike some cafes you go too. I will return and I also look forward to the Heswall branch...

I don’t usually leave negative reviews but that take away was appalling. I got egg on toast, the toast wasn’t buttered and no butter provided, it was supposed to be 2 eggs but it they were tiny so basically the size of 1 and overcooked. I had to throw the chips straight in the bin, they were over cooked and stuck together (I don’t think using cling film to wrap helped because the condensation turned the chips soggy and dried out) the beans were cold too.
