The 21 Way Burger (Knaphill) — Restaurant in Woking

We had our first order from here at the weekend and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised.

The burgers are really good. In execution, think a Five Guys style, but with a far better quality patty. I had a spicy one, I forget which, and I really enjoyed it. It's great to have a proper, quality, burger joint that gets that a good burger isn't a fat meatball in a bun. Guarantee this will be better than Ramsey's new place in town.

Part of our order was a kids meal which honestly could easily pass as an adults meal. That burger was also very tasty, and came with loads of fries, and fresh orange juice too.

Only slight downgrade was for the Rosemary Fries, which I didn't love. I mean, they were fine, but I've been lucky enough to eat some amazing Rosemary Fries in the past, and these were a bit lacking. I think using real Rosemary or Rosemary oil would be better than using Rosemary Salt, but YMMD. Oh, and that we ordered 2 portions but only received one. That was a bummer, although a single portion was enough for the two of us to share, just.

Finally, props for offering 3 different types of Vegan patties, and a further veggie one. My wife is dairy free at the moment and honestly couldn't tell the vegan cheese wasn't real cheese. To the extent that she questioned whether you'd got the order wrong! You...

Went back to give them another try tonight and the food arrived in 30 minutes and was still good. Not sure if they would manage on a busier night but was worth the second chance

The food was decent, but 2 hours 15 minutes to wait for it is too much even on a Friday night. To top it off the milkshakes we ordered were missing when the food finally did arrive.

We had to chase repeatedly for updates, they didn't call us to tell us about the delay. They gave me a story about the first driver being in an accident but that the second driver was on their way, then had to call 3 more times to chase the order. Staff were reasonably courteous on the phone (the times they did actually answer). We did also get a refund on the milkshakes which is at least something. Well I finally made my way to the new Burger joint in my village. We arrived around 10:30pm, the shop was empty so nearly closing time. Ordered the Barbecue beef burger which comes with rosemary fries. I had no idea what to expect, however I must say once we got home I was pleasantly surprised. Firstly the presentation is definitely worth mentioning. The beef was a good quality and all the ingredients was fresh and tasty. 100% better taste and value than many of the high street chains. I have always been a critic, and to be honest I was totally blown away.I do hope others have the same experience on their visit. I will definitely be back. I wish them every success.
