Popped in few a snack and a couple of drinks. Nice and quiet and relaxing. The snacks of chicken strips and chips were very nice. I only presume the food as a meal is just as good. Staff very friendly too. From this point I'm writing a fresh review for the date of 27/3/24, we telephone booked a birthday party group here as they said they were dog friendly pub so yes we booked, upon arrival of an 18 person group my daughter arrived with her new puppy in her arms and at the desk the lady said have you booked because all pet tables are busy, we said yes but they said there's nothing they could do apart from leave with the dog as it can't go past the food but you could have a takeaway and wait for the party to finish. My daughter is young and was clearly upset as the seats was booked and she had to go. Not the best way to start a family get together. Food wasn't the greatest either if I'm being honest as carvery was cold and other food dry for other family members. Mine seemed ok but not the best mixed grill I've had. So all in all we were quite disappointed and may not go back

The staff seem friendly enough. There is parking and wheelchair access. It's a pub that welcomes family. My one star less was for the ' adult only ' seating areas, although I kind of understand the reasoning behind it, it still felt like segregation and the more comfy seating, i.e padded seats & semi circle seats was for them. We was seated at the very back of the restaurant. Like I said I understand but didn't make it feel any better. Some people take children places when they have no control over their behaviour. Two of my grandchildren was there and you wouldn't have known until you seen them. The food wasn't too bad, they have a lot of choice of sides to go with your meal. You don't have to book, you seat yourself, just be mindful if you have children take yourself to the very back and find a seat. I had to ask where we could sit due to seeing more places we couldn't sit.

My wife and i were recommended the broadway by a family member. Fantastic recommendation, could not fault anything about this place. We visited today Monday 13th May around 14.00hrs. Greeted by very polite young lady behind the bar. We opted for the carvery,3 different meats and a wide variety of seasonal veg, homemade yorkie pud,and gravy to die for. I always believe that when you are asked by a member of staff 'is everything ok with your meal' it is because they actually know that it will be,and by some chance we were asked by 2 different members of staff. We will definitely be back.👍

Haven't been here in years and unfortunately I'm in no rush to be making anymore trips there any time soon. Staff were fine with me, food was great. But unfortunately I couldn't finish my meal as I heard the way some of the waiting staff were speaking to an elderly gentleman which put me off my food. The lady that served us was lovely, she seemed rushed off her feet. Her customer service was great. Also the carvery staff were lovely. The elderly man sitting near us quite clearly had difficulties walking, and struggled to get up and down from his chair. He had a walker. Assuming he was a regular as staff knew him by name. He did ask, very politely, if one of the wait staff could get him a drink. She replied with "we don't do table service go to the bar and order". He asked again a few minutes later, she was obviously annoyed at this point and told him "we don't do table service you need to go to the bar and order it yourself. If we do it for you we'll need to do it for everyone and it isn't fair. We're very busy we don't have time." the poor man could barely walk! Surely an exception could've been made? Was such a shame to see him getting up and down from his chair. The waiting staff were walking around the pub aimlessly just staring at people, talking to one another or watching football. Thankfully one lovely staff member did carry his carvery over to his table for him. The way the lady spoke to him, there was just no...

First time here for a carvery Meal and wow I'm definitely coming again. Greeted wonderfully by a young man who showed us to our table and they listened to my special booking requests prior to visiting which was fantastic. The choice of beef gammon and turkey was great. Meat fell apart as it was being sliced and saw how tender the beef was whilst still retaining some pink in the middle all perfectly cooked.

The Choices of Vegetables is amazing and the crispy parsnips are on point. I love the choice of gravy options and was awesome to help myself to all the veg I could physically fit on my plate.

For £12 large carvery it is an absolute belter of a meal and having the free choice to load your plate like the size of mount Everest is a bonus.

Everything was on point and nothing could be faulted with the food or the service given. My only setback would be that when ordering drinks, they have a member of staff who knows what a measure is and not eyeball the drink orders because the double whiskey drink I had was a bit over the top and felt like triple shot. But apart from that everything else gets a perfect 10 and I'll most definitely be coming to visit again for a Sunday carvery meal.

Well done to the staff and Thier service at the Broadway. You have gained a...
