I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zooma and I must say it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The restaurant strikes a perfect balance between exceptional food, friendly service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere.
From the moment we walked in, the staff made us feel incredibly welcome. Their attentiveness and genuine hospitality really stood out. The service was prompt without feeling rushed, and everyone seemed eager to ensure we had the best possible experience. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is a top priority here, which made our visit all the more enjoyable.
The food at Zooma was simply amazing. Each dish was bursting with rich, authentic flavors, and the variety on the menu was impressive. Whether you’re a fan of spicy curries or prefer milder options, there’s something for everyone. The ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were generous without being overwhelming. I was particularly impressed with their attention to detail in presentation and how the flavors were layered in each dish.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is another highlight. The décor strikes a nice balance between modern and traditional, creating a cozy yet stylish environment to enjoy your meal. It’s the kind of place where you can feel equally comfortable coming for a casual dinner or celebrating a special occasion. There’s a warmth and vibrancy to the space that enhances the overall dining experience.
Zooma’s location is another big plus. It’s conveniently situated, making it easy to access, whether you’re coming from nearby or farther afield. The restaurant is in a lively part of town, but once inside, it feels like a calm escape.
In short, I was thoroughly impressed with Zooma. The combination of great food, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a must-visit. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic...
Read moreA rare dining alone experience for me. I had to drop the wife off in Wolverhampton to meet with friends and having to 'kill' a couple of hours I wondered how could I while away some time on a Friday night? The last time I was here it was under a different name and management and chose it to see how the new owners were doing. Up the stairs to the first floor and judging by the decor they are doing well and have invested quite a lot of money on the refurbishment, it's rather smart. I didn't notice what the arrangements are if the stairs are a problem for you. Unfortunately my visit coincided with a football match so the restaurant was rather quiet which made me wonder what it's normally like. The service was excellent, and being quiet I had time to chat with the waitress and one of chefs. Both were extremely helpful and pleasant. The Indian inspired menu covers a wide range of meals including all the usual suspects which isn't always the case with Indian restaurants. The chicken tikka in my Jalfrezi was one of the best I've had, it's rare that you can taste its flavour over the curry, especially as I like hot and spicy dishes. Nothing wrong with the sides but there was too much for just me. The bar looks very well stocked but can't speak for the wife and her choice. However I was so impressed with this place that I will be taking her soon. Possibly taking advantage of their midweek offers. Convenient free car parking around the building. Update, and take the wife I did. She enjoyed her prosecco, however she was a bit disappointed with the tinned mushrooms in her dish, and to be honest my pathia was a bit too sweet for me. All else was just as...
Read moreI don’t usually make reviews on google but I think that it’s fully necessary to share my awful experience which I had at this restaurant.
I went for dinner with my bf and we ordered the sharing platter which from the presentation, it looked different from what it looks like on the website of the restaurant. The plate wasn’t actually for two people but for one person. As a customer which is looking for quality not quantity, what made me rate it with one star isn't this, but the fact that despite this, the food had 0 spices (really strange to say this for an Indian restaurant) and also was very dry. I felt like they just put in the plate what they had, and ignored the items which they didn’t have.
I expressed my concern to the manager and all he did was walk away and didn’t see him anymore. Also seeing waitress looking us from the door of the kitchen and straight away coming to the table to take the things away as soon as possible, even though there was plenty of time for the restaurant to be closed, made me feel not welcome. Had to choose in the rush and leave in the rush.
A good try from them to give good customer service, but the food tells the opposite. Definitely wouldn’t go back and wouldn’t recommend it...
