Disgusting. 7pm on a Monday evening, I walked in, alone, smiling politely, approached the bar, and thought the tough looking middle aged woman behind the bar hadn't noticed me, so, I said excuse me, do you mind if I nip to the loo quickly please? Which she clearly heard, as she looked me in the eye, snarled and turned her head away to ignore me completely. I found my own way to the gents, through no help from what I'm guessing are the regulars, from whom I got the impression, they were looking for a fight with whoever wandered in. Upon entering the premises we were greeted and made welcome by the management and staff. Lovely friendly pub. We tried the homemade pizza and homemade burger and were not disappointed. Homemade by the landlady Danielle and to be honest much nicer than most high end establishments at a very affordable cost. The locals were very friendly and the manager Craig was a credit, along with his staff, to the business. I would happily recommend trying this little pub if you want a nice friendly welcoming place.
