Came in today to get lunch. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was awful to say the least. When ordering a grilled chicken and bacon sandwich you expect for £7.50 the sandwich should come with more than two condiments. No salad or sauce just dry bread, chicken and bacon. Also when paying £30+ for two coffees, two sandwiches and a small 500ml bottle of water you should not be provided with the cheapest mayonnaise and ketchup money can buy, let alone the cost of a bottle of ice valley water which is for sale in bookers in a 24 pack including vat at under £4 they want to charge you £2.45. I’m all for paying my way when it comes to eating out but getting ripped off for tasteless food thrown together with no care at extortionate prices, you should care more about your customers and less about profit margins. I’ve been in the food industry for over ten years now and understand the cost of gas, electricity, wages and food are on the up but the cost should be shared not taken for granted and put solely onto your customers. Just an idea Instead of putting three rows of napkins out for customers to stock up on think about just providing one with each set of knife and forks that way you can charge the going rate for cheap materials and...

I was out in town for the day and wanted to try somewhere new for once, but I didn't want to go to a big chain, plus I do like supporting local businesses. As I opened the door I had a nice warm welcome, ordered my food and went and got a window seat watching the world go by.

The feeling inside was nice and relaxed. whilst waiting for my panini and chips they were playing some chilled motown music and it was nice to just be there, enjoy the mood and relax after a long day on my feet.

I order, brie bacon cranberry panini with chips. All the food was hot all the way through and was nice and fresh. The panini was delicious, the brie melting in my mouth and the amount of cranberry was perfect. All the staff were polite and very friendly and welcoming.

I would definitely recommend to go here...

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience. The three of us all ordered at the same time, but me and my friend received our food 20 minutes apart only to receive incorrect orders (missing items). Three families came in, ordered, ate and left in the time it took for my third friend to receive his food, which we only got after going to ask about its whereabouts. We were told it was our fault for not collecting it from the server, which made no sense as the restaurant has table service and we never needed to claim meals ourselves. When it finally arrived we were met with a very apologetic and kind server but unfortunately the experience was already bad enough for us to not...

I called in for midweek brunch. It was the first time I'd visited, but I was warmly greeted. The atmosphere was relaxed and hospitality was, for me, perfect - welcoming and pleasant but without that awful fake friendliness that you get in some places. I didn't have to wait long, and my brie, bacon and cranberry panini was hot and delicious. The location is good - just along Warwick Street. There was plenty of seating and the toilets looked spotlessly clean. I will definitely return.

I went with my husband and my son to this cafe on a sunny afternoon. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We chose chicken burger and a full English breakfast with a portion of nuggets and sweet potato fries for my kid. The chicken was very succulent and delicious with a perfect hint of sweet and spice to it. The full English bf was well made and very tasty. Our coffee and hot chocolate were personalised which definitely adds an extra star to this experience. Happy to visit again.
