Popped in here for a quick bite while visiting my daughter. The guy behind the counter was welcoming and to be fair, we were surprised the prices as they’re super reasonable. My husband had an egg and bacon baguette, I had a sausage sandwich and my daughter had a bacon baguette. I’m glad I got the sandwich as it looked like they’d used a whole tiger baguette between my husband and daughter … no complaints there but the size of the baguette was way too big for one person which could be down to generosity but there were only 2 pieces of bacon inside which wasn’t enough for the size of the baguette (which was way too big anyway unless you’re a competitive eater) anyway …. It was a bit measly. They also use cheap ingredients which helps to keep the price down and I totally get that as it makes it more affordable for everyone and I think everyone has the right to treat themselves to a cooked breakfast or breakfast sandwich! Staff fab, location pretty good, price brilliant, ingredients mediocre....
Read moreArrived at Cafe and ordered food at 3.29pm waited just over half an hour for food to arrive and it wasn't very nice , the roast potato's had the skin on and tasted quite strange. The two young boys who seemed to be running the place spent most of their time in the kitchen chatting and laughing with each other. I have been going to this cafe quite often but it has really gone down hill.
