On Saturday night we placed an order for the whole family. The place was really quiet. The order was very large (over £90) & when I made a joke about it being all for just me they didn’t get it at all (not an issue) but looked absolutely disgusted at me!!!! I collected the order & went home (a 5 minute drive) & giving everyone their food, we realised we had two large milkshakes missing. We thought never mind & would give the store a call after dinner. As we all started dinner we realised that it wasn’t the normal quality & that the food was a mixture of burnt, stale or just missing food & drinks. Just to top it all off too it was all cold. The food was inedible for everyone so it went in the bin, and those who received their drinks had those. I called the store expecting it to be a straightforward apology & replacement food or a refund but spoke to someone from the store who kept forgetting what was even wrong with the order & didn’t know what to do. I assume they were new so asked if I could speak to someone who could put through a refund. He went off the phone & could hear him speaking to a colleague who very bluntly put there was nothing they were going to do about it & it wasn’t their problem. The person on the phone then came back to me & said they couldn’t do anything & to contact Just Eat, then apologised. Just Eat are being less than helpful as they don’t do refunds, so I just wanted to warn anyone thinking of ordering from them. Read moreMade an order from uncle Sam’s only for two people two burger meals. Both burgers turned up wrong completely different to what was ordered. Both drinks were wrong and there was no milkshake. When I called up after trying a few times. I finally got an answer to someone who gave me a number which turned out to be the same number that I’d already called on, I was then ignored and hung up on until eventually, I received an answer to no one talking. I stated that I’d placed an order and had been trying to get through. At that point. He then hung up on me and declined every call after that. Ive now been left with no food and highly frustrated, I must say the customer service was appalling as someone with autism this was really difficult to try and resolve on my own and the response that was giving was rude, never experienced something like this in my life....
Read moreI fancied an Uncle Sams after a 10 hour shift last night - drove about 15 minutes to get there as just happened to be working in the area. It was about 10:30pm I went to open the door only to find out they had locked the door. All the lights were on as if they were open. They close at 11pm so I thought we had plenty of time to get in a order. I had parked outside and decided to find their number online and call them. I was waiting to see if anyone would come to the counter. After about 3 minutes of ringing a guy finally answered the phone but I could not see him. I asked if they were still open and he went NO and put the phone down. Never had a bad experience with any of the Uncle Sams in Brighton I wonder what was up with the one in Worthing.
