Of course I've eaten plenty of brassicas over December. But also loads of rubbish. Including some not very fine moments, like a breakfast of cheeselets and stollen; or a dinner consisting mostly of cheese. Jan 1st brought a brisk beachside stroll and a desire for proper simple and healthy food to re- start the year well. This place offered exactly what was needed. Avocado and raw onion omelette sorted me out and I'm telling myself that the sweet potato fries are understandable, given the weather. The owner here runs an amazing setup. Good food, relaxed vibes, friendly but mega efficient staff, and cool decor, all in a beautiful seafront arcade with indoor and outside seatingand plenty of room upstairs too. This cafe is dog friendly, queer friendly, family friendly, senior citizen friendly - let's just say friendly. Pupkin was treated to free sausage. We enjoyed our visit. Special shout out for Teapigs tea. We had a chilli chai latte that was perfectly made and shows up exactly what a horrible sweet unspicy goo is the chai you get in most cafes. No instant sugary powder milk drink here, but a careful blend of real tea and spices with the correct balance between water and milk. I could drink this daily. If you're around Worthing seafront, give this gem of a cafe a visit.

Nice breakfast and friendly staff. When we arrived the place was empty but it quickly filled up and we wouldn’t have gone in if it was so full when we arrived. We noticed contact details being taken but ours weren’t. (We made sure we left them before we left!) The staff were wearing visors. Food was served from upstairs using the same stairs as the customer toilets. There wasn’t time for the server to have washed or sanitised their hands between each trip to our table nor was the banister cleaned at all while we were there despite a customer going up to use the toilets. (Other places we’ve been have felt more Covid safe such us; disinfecting menus between customers and asking us to take plates from the tray ourselves.)

Amazing Coffee and breakfast at Munch Cafe in Worthing. The food used is mainly locally sourced and the quality of the sausage and bacon was just unreal. The food was simply delicious. The coffee is must have as using a blend of Latin and Central American Arabica coffee beans just makes it very very smooth. Didn’t get to try the home baked cakes one for next time when we back in Worthing. Will return soon to this Gem of a cafe. Excellent COVOD 19 procedures in place with sanitizing stations and staff well trained. Staff are super friendly and attentive. Again another DOG FRIENDLY Cafe. Insta: tai_the_food_explorer

I figured I would try this quaint little café with my son today. My little boy is ASD and was counting the little packets of sugar on the table to which we were both told abruptly by the server (I assume the owner) that he couldn't do that and vaguely indicated us to a box with dilapidated old books and apparently colouring... without bringing anything over or offering something. I wasn't going to rummage through that box. And my son was quite content, quiet and well behaved. When we were told for the second time I knew that this was an unwelcoming place and hastened to leave as soon as possible. Unfortunately I had to wait a few agonising minutes because they don't take card and I had to do a bank transfer... Sigh.

I was thanked by a different member of staff on my way out at which point, it was too little too late but I wish she'd served me and not the owner!

The apple juice served to my son was tiny in the large cup as if the tide had gone out. My flat white was also much too frothy.

Wouldn't recommend, great that they are dog friendly but clearly not...

First time we went today.

What an amazing welcome, made to feel very welcome.

Food was excellent. Genuine homemade burger and superb chunky chips.

A hidden gem.

We’ll be back.

…..Came back today. Busy bad sadly the standard was far poorer!

My wife ordered beans on toast (beans extra hot) with a fried egg on top.

What she actually got was a plate of toast that needed to be buttered and a separate plate with like warm beans and a fried egg.

Requested that the beans be heated up, when that plate returned the beans were hotter but the egg was not hot !!!

Hot chocolates weren’t…..hot that is!

Appreciate they were very busy, which is why we were prepared to wait 30 minutes for our meal but when you revive it you don’t expect what we got.

Disappointing after first impressions but the owner was very apologetic and gave...
