Texas Pizza — Restaurant in Worthing

I never write reviews really, especially negative ones as I know how damaging they can be to a business but I am gobsmacked at the way we have been treated tonight! We use this pizza place a lot and have done for the past 3 years or so. The staff were good and so were the delivery guys...we had a good relationship with the staff and have never had issues. So when our pizzas arrived and weren’t stuffed crust (we always have stuffed crust) we didn’t think there would be a problem when we called back. However their attitude was shocking! They said that we had lied, that we had never ordered there previously and they would not send out our correct order. Very strange...under new management maybe? The man I spoke to said he’d been there 5 years so very odd. We offered to pay extra so we could actually have our order but still they refused and continued to say it was us that had lied. Eventually they said they’d send us out a 12 inch plain cheese pizza free of charge and then couldn’t understand why we didn’t want to accept that as that had not been our order...very frustrating! Having looked at other reviews it appears we are not the only ones this has happened to! Unbelievable! I am really sad that I will not be returning here but to be honest it is definitely not worth the customer service (or lack of) that goes...

The food can be okay. However. When they delivered the food they gave me a plastic bag and passed it to me (it had 1 can in that bag) I assumed he was going to pass me another and he passed me the rest of the good and left. I assumed he forgot to pass me the other can of coke I payed for. And these cans are 90p I know it's stupid to complain about this 1 can however I've heard stories of other people ordering small things like that and them forgetting to add it in the order which means they take that extra 90p from you when you order! So if they take it from everyone they're making more profit off forgetting the extra can of coke or other things.

I called them and they hung up on me when I asked for their driver to drop the can of coke off before they got too far away. I understand it's busy business. And the words part is they were late and the garlic bread was cold. I was frustrated after they hung up on me. So I'm leaving a bad review for terrible service. And giving them that extra star because their food is okay :) overall they shouldn't forget your food even if it's little.

I ordered a vegetarian pizza from Taxes Pizza in Worthing, as I am a vegetarian. However, when i get the pizza, I found pieces of chicken in it. This was very disappointing and unacceptable, especially considering dietary and ethical reasons for choosing vegetarian food. I decided to call the store to let them know about the mistake. Unfortunately, the person I spoke to was rude and dismissive. Instead of apologizing or offering a solution, he simply said, "It’s just a chicken piece. If you don’t want to eat it, throw it in the bin." This response was shocking and unprofessional. As a customer, I expected at least a basic level of courtesy and accountability. Mistakes can happen, but how a business handles them makes all the difference. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Taxes Pizza to anyone—especially vegetarians or anyone who expects decent...
