Been going here for over 20 years with a friend for lunches. But I think today may be the last time for me. I ordered small battered fish and chips, my friend had the nachos. No way was my fish battered. It was coated in seasoned flour and the chips weren’t cooked properly, I hardly touched them. Great pub, been coming here for 40 years. My local in the centre of town. My other is the Henty Arms Ferring.

Also my bolt hole when the wife goes 'through the looking glass' into M&S. Fortunately she loves the pub too.

Nothing more romantic than sharing a Cajun chicken doorstep and a portion of chips here with the wife while discussing her latest underwear.

The real ale selection is always very well kept, never had a bad pint.

Very friendly staff, traditional pub with excellent Sunday roast. We found this pub by chance looking for somewhere to have a Sunday roast. The price seemed reasonable and included free dessert so gave it a try. We were not disappointed, the food arrived in good time and was very tasty. We look forward to trying their other dishes.
