My family hosted a private party upstairs and my partner (who is is mixed race) had been blocked and told that he cannot pass. We were very dressed up and told the security that we are part of the party! He let us pass and then grabbed my partner and told him to go outside, where he was made to empty all of his pockets on the wall in front of everyone. They found NOTHING on him and still refused to let him enter. I asked why, and the 3 security guards were very verbally abusive towards me. My partner tried to defend me and one of the security guards (who was clearly on cocaine) started to call him names and pushed my partner to try and provoke him for a fight. My partner knew their intentions and chose to walk away. I tried to enter to say my goodbyes and was told to "open your bag love" by the female security. My mother had come down to speak to the security and they told my mother and my Aunty (the host) to "p* off". They're lucky I didn't call the Police. We had a recent misunderstanding with the owners of The Libertine which I am happy has now been resolved.

We celebrated our Gender reveal here in the November before the pandemic hit and it was wonderful. Great choice of drinks and food, so much space and very family friendly. The upstairs terrace is a sun trap, I've spent many an afternoon sipping on gin and getting sunburnt up there.

I will say, Lisa is extremely understanding and kind, though we experienced a miscommunication, once we were able to discuss things she really understood where I was coming from and explained fully how it could and would be resolved.

We came for a friends birthday and the service was awful. The food was terrible… I had an avocado on toast. It was about three avocados which hadn’t been seasoned or cut up properly so it was lumpy, cold and tasteless…

The waffle was chewy and the chocolate sauce tasted synthetic. It was horrible.

The Chef needs to season the avocado with coriander, salt, pepper, garlic and lime. That would be so much more tasty and exciting. And the waffle needed to be more crispy with something like maple sauce rather than horrible chocolate sauce. I will not be...
